This summer's price increase has just taken effect, impacting thousands of items across the resort, including some of our top Mickey Visit best Disneyland foods.

Disneyland Food Price Increases
Several food items have increased in cost at Disneyland, which are all now reflected in the app. While it is never a very fun feeling to see this, these increases do happen regularly each year. It's the reality of going to Disneyland that dining is going to be a more expensive component of your trip, but there are still plenty of ways you can save money in this area (see the common Disney dining mistakes to avoid to save money), and several great quick-service locations where you can enjoy a less expensive meal (see our favorite ones here).

Here are some of the examples of popular items that underwent price increases, according to a post by foodatdisneyland on Instagram.
The Plaza Inn Fried Chicken increased by $2, as it was $19.99 and now costs $21.99. A box of popcorn increased by 50 cents, from $6 to $6.50. Fountain sodas increased in cost by 70 cents, from $4.59 to $5.29 for small sodas and $4.99 to $5.69 for large sodas. Chicken tenders and Turkey Legs both increased in cost by $1.50, going from $11.99 to $13.49 and $12.99 to $14.49, respectively. The Smoked Beef Brisket Sandwich from Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree also increased $1.50, going from $16.99 to $18.49. Dole Whip increased in price as well, by 50 cents, going from $7.49 to $7.99.
Theme Park IQ pulled together some data on the Disneyland food price increases across the resort. Some of our other favorite items had increases as well, like the Yaki Udon With Karaage-Inspired Crispy Chicken at Lucky Fortune Cookery ($18.99 to $19.99), corn dogs ($10.59 to $11.29), the Cold Brew Black Caf at Docking Bay 7 ($7.29 to $7.79), Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe ($7.79 to $8.29), and the shakes from Smokejumpers Grill ($7.29 to $7.79).

Some other random items that had some particularly signiciant percentage increases from old to new price include some kids' items like the Chocolate Milk at several locations (a 16.72% increase from $2.99 to $3.49 at locations like Docking Bay 7 and Smokejumpers Grill, for example) and the same price increase for Minute Maid Fruit Punch at locations like Flo's V8 Cafe and Bengal Barbecue. smartwater also had some bigger increases at locations across the resort, like Tangaroa Terrace (a 33.3% increase from $4.50 to $6), Studio Catering Co. and Good Boy Grocers (an 18.40% increase from $4.89 to $5.79), and The Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel (a 20% increase from $5 to $6).
