Walt Disney World has continued to expand a popular resort hotel guest perk that makes traveling to and from the airport much easier. The service has continued to expand, allowing even more guests to take advantage of a convenient airport transportation option.

Disney World Adds More Airlines to Airport Luggage Transfer
Guests staying at select Disney World resort hotels and flying with select airlines can take advantage of Disney’s free Airport Luggage Transfer service. Disney has partnered with a third-party service called BagCheck that allows Disney to pick up guests’ luggage from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and then deliver it directly to their hotel. Disney will also deliver the luggage again from the hotel back to MCO at the end of guests’ vacations.

This is a great convenience perk for guests traveling to Disney World that allows them to skip the lines to check their bag when they depart the airport, plus skip baggage claim to head straight to their resort hotel. When this service was first introduced, it was originally only eligible for value resorts, and Disney has continued to expand it to other resort hotel category types.
Here is the current lineup of Disney resort hotels that offer the free service:
- Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Now Disney World has added another airline to the list of participating airlines that participate in the Airport Luggage Transfer perk for Disney World resort hotel guests, as it continues to expand the service.
JetBlue Airlines has now joined the list of participating airlines in the free service. Other participating airlines include Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, and United Airlines. Earlier this summer, Disney briefly added Delta to the list on its website, but quickly removed it. Disney says, “Additional airlines could be added soon.” It’s likely we will continue to see the list of eligible airlines expand along with resort hotels.

We personally tried this free service in December of last year, and it was easy, convenient, and fast. Our tags for checked luggage were mailed to us ahead of our travel, and our luggage arrived extremely quickly at our resort hotel. Disney Bell Services delivered our luggage directly to our resort hotel room, so our bags were inside the room when we arrived.
The Airport Luggage Transfer service echoes one of the most beloved benefits of Disney’s former Magical Express and Remote Airline Check-In, discontinued in 2020 and still missed by many Disney adults. That complimentary service transported guests to and from their Disney resort hotel and handled their luggage, allowing travelers to bypass baggage claim entirely. While this isn’t a direct replacement, it does help offer a similar convenience to those traveling to Disney World.
