Disney Churros Kiosks Permanently Closed
Sunshine Churros is a kiosk at Disney Springs that serves a variety of different churros. There are two locations: one in the Marketplace, and one on the West Side. While these kiosks sold the classic cinnamon sugar churros, they were known for their gourmet churros, which came with a drizzle and dipping sauce centered around six different flavors:
- Dulce de Leche
- Oreo Cheesecake
- Grandma’s Homemade Apple Pie
- Salted Caramel Delight
- Fruity Pebble Cereal
- Strawberry Cheesecake

These different flavors set Sunshine Churros apart from the various other churro carts across Disney World.
Both Sunshine Churros kiosks closed permanently on September 5. This was a very sudden closure, with only a few days notice from Disney before the closure. With these locations gone, there is no more gourmet churro service in Disney Springs. This will be especially upsetting news to churro fans, as Sunshine Churros was well regarded in terms of its selection, and it will certainly be missed.
This news was first reported by WDWMagic.
With both locations being so small, it is unclear if Disney will announce a replacement vendor for the spaces, or knock them down entirely and open up the area for other possibilities. There has been no news regarding potential replacements, nor has there been news about why these kiosks closed.

Sunshine Churros is not the only dining location to go from Disney Springs. Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill will be closing on September 14, with September 13 being the last day you can dine there. This closure marks the end of a nearly 30 year long partnership between Disney and celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, who has had several restaurants in Disney Springs. Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is the last standing restaurant in Disney Springs from the chef.
A brand new Level99 location opened up at the end of June, marking the fourth location in the chain. Level99 combines physical mini games and logic puzzles into a fun space that older children and adults can enjoy. There is also a dining space in the building.
Six Ravens is a brand new bakery from the creators of the very popular Gideon’s Bakehouse. This new concept is themed around medieval Europe, with the main menu item being a treat from that time period. The bakery will serve “coffyns,” a baked pocket stuffed with savory foods, like cheeseburger patties or mac and cheese. The spot opened August 3.
