Disney Cruise Line Adding Peloton Bikes to Fitness Centers

Disney Cruise ships offer many great amenities to all guests, but especially to their adults! Most guests wouldn’t realize how amazing a Disney Cruise Line experience is for adults but we are always impressed by the offerings geared at those over 18 along with families with children.

We just got back from the preview sailing onboard the Disney Treasure Cruise Ship where we checked out so many great offerings including the new Haunted Mansion bar and a Coco dining experience.

While onboard we also spotted a new offering in the fitness center that we’ve now confirmed is coming to more of the Disney Cruise ships. This one has us and all of our fellow dedicated Peloton users excited.

A frequent guest request has been fulfilled. Peloton Bikes are now available on multiple Disney Cruise Line ships and will be available on the entire Disney Cruise Line fleet sometime early next year.

The Disney Fantasy ship received the bikes first, followed by the Disney Wish and now the Disney Treasure. In the coming weeks, the Disney Dream and Disney Magic will also receive Peloton Bikes. The Disney Wonder will receive Peloton bikes in early 2025. We confirmed this information directly with Disney Cruise Line.

On board the Disney Treasure there were two brand new Peloton Bikes available. We expect that all the ships will receive two bikes. Unfortunately, we didn’t grab a picture of the bikes but above is the photo we took of the fitness center.

The Fitness Centers on the Disney Cruise Line ships are meant for adults only but teens ages 14 to 17 may use the space if they are accompanied by an adult or guardian to access the center. Many guests enjoy taking the time to work out on their Disney Cruise and these Fitness Centers have great equipment plus great views of the ocean.

Peloton Bikes are a great addition to the Fitness Center especially for guests who might get a bit seasick working out if they stare out at the ocean. I experienced on the Disney Dream when using a treadmill while the boat was moving. This is also a great way to try a Peloton Bike for the first time if you’ve never tried one.

The fitness center that now features the new Peloton Bikes is part of the bigger Senses Spa area of the ship which features massages and the very popular Rainforest Room. The additional-fee, adults-only, space features heated loungers, steam room, pools, private outdoor space, showers, and more. The ice room in particular was really impressive to me. The space is perfect for alternating between hot and cold.

It’s exciting to see Disney add more and more amenities like this as they focus on growing their fleet of cruise ships. In addition to the Disney Destiny cruise ship debuting next year, four more new Disney Cruise Line ships are announced. We’ll be following along closely to bring you the latest news and additions from the cruise line.
