Disney Announces Four New Cruise Line Ships and Show for Disney Destiny!

Disney has made some major announcements at the Disney Experiences Showcase at D23 this evening, including news of four new cruise line ships coming to the Disney Cruise Line fleet!

Five ships currently make up Disney Cruise Line's fleet, with four more in the works, and the additional four that have been announced will bring the fleet's total to thirteen ships! During the Disney Experiences Showcase, Disney shared that the four new ships joining Disney Cruise Line will be arriving between 2027 and 2031. The names, designs, and itineraries are still in development.

It was also announced that “Disney Hercules,” featuring the music and characters from the beloved film, will be the signature production aboard the Disney Destiny.

Disney had previously revealed a new show “Disney The Tale of Moana” coming to the Disney Treasure that will feature a giant puppet onstage.

“Te Kā will appear onstage as a 15-foot-tall puppet – the largest we’ve ever produced for a Disney Cruise Line show,” Josh D’Amaro said. “I’ve had a chance to see this in person, and it is stunning.”
