A favorite Disneyland Park ride, Indiana Jones Adventure, will be closing for refurbishment on March 17, 2025. This is one of the most popular thrill rides at the park that is in consistently high demand with a long standby wait and Lightning Lane Multi Pass return times booking up very quickly each day.

On the ride page on the Disneyland website, we can now see that the refurbishment is scheduled to last through April 24, 2025. This closure takes place during one of the busiest periods of the year at Disneyland with families visiting during Spring Break.

The ride's closure shares a few days of overlap with the closure of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! in Disney California Adventure. Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! is scheduled to reopen not too long after the Spring Break season at Disneyland begins.

In 2023, the ride underwent a longer 3-month closure and reopened with a new scene and other enhancements. We expect that this is just routine maintenance for the ride ahead of Spring Break and the start of Disneyland's 70th anniversary celebration.

  1. Mechanically, it needs serious work. We rode on the last weekend of November. In all the many years I’ve ridden it (at least 19), it has never been so rough. A nasty expletive was startled out of me at one excessive sharp heave to the side. My entire group got off muttering and nursing bruises.
