Disneyland Adding More New Water Bottle Fillers & Drinking Fountains Across Park

It’s important to stay hydrated throughout your Disneyland day, and many visitors opt to bring their own water bottles so they can refill them as needed. There are several stations across the parks where guests can refill their bottles, and we now have news that Disneyland is adding some more!

They recently added some really cute themed stations last year, so we’re looking forward to seeing how these turn out. Keep reading for all of the details! At Mickey Visit, we report on the latest Disney theme park news, like menu changes that were quietly made to these 12 Disneyland restaurants and a new rule for guest water bottles on a popular thrill ride. These new stations will be coming to Space Mountain, the Main Street lockers, Trubadour Tavern restroom, and Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree restroom.

Last year, they added a couple of other themed drinking fountains at Disneyland Park, including an Alice in Wonderland one in Fantasyland and a Winnie the Pooh one in Bayou Country. The theming for these is super cute! We’re anticipating that at least for all (maybe except the Main Street one) of these new stations, their theming will correspond with the land where they are located.

The design of these stations is one of those small but delightful things that shows how Disneyland can bring an extra dose of magic to everything, even something as mundane as refilling your water bottle.

These stations will be joining several others currently located across the park. On the Disneyland app and website, you can see an interactive map where all of these are located. There are currently 15 in Disneyland Park and three in Disney California Adventure.

We’re hoping the addition of these new fountains means more are on the way for Disney California Adventure, which desperately needs more refill stations. In the meantime, know that you can get free ice water upon request from any counter service restaurant. This is one of the many free things at Disneyland you should know about.

  1. Great start. Now how about doing it at WDW? You’ll spend all day trying to find one!
Another thing Epic does better, those things are everywhere

    • Agreed! Only, WDW will need to put filters on their systems to ensure they get used. The tap water in the parks, when they’re not from filtered sources like the soda fountains, tastes of the bromide that’s used for water purification across the entire property. It’s gross – smells and tastes like the water on Pirates of the Caribbean. As a Floridian, even *I* know it’s not normal.
