New Disney Coco Sit-Down Restaurant Preview! We Toured

Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the Disney Treasure, will take its maiden voyage in December 2024 and will debut the first ever Coco interactive dining experience.

Disney Treasure is debuting multiple “firsts” like the first Haunted Mansion bar, a lounge dedicated to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and a new Jungle Cruise inspired lounge.

We got the first look at this new dining experience on the Disney Treasure that is based on the popular Disney and Pixar film “Coco.” This experience will be a hit with guests and joins some of the other exciting dinner experiences onboard like the Worlds of Marvel Guardian of The Galaxy interactive dining.

The Plaza de Coco dining experience will offer two different dining experiences which will change depending on what night you experience the show. Guests are invited to the fantastical town of Santa Cecilia for two different performances that feature favorite characters from the film like Miguel, Abuelita, Mamá Imelda and Héctor.

First Night Coco Dining Experience

On the first night, the story of Miguel and his familia will continue on from where the movie “Coco” ends. At the end of the film “Coco,” Miguel has successfully brought music into his family's life and built even stronger connections with his family after his adventure into the Land of the Dead. Miguel and his familia will take guests on a music-filled journey that celebrates family memories and togetherness which is a central theme of this popular Disney and Pixar film.

Second Night Coco Dining Experience

On the second night, Miguel will be reunited with his great-great-grandparents, Hector and Mama Imelda. We see Hector and Mama Imelda in the film “Coco” during his journey into the Land of the Dead and by the end of the film he helps them find each other again. Miguel will transport Hector and Mama Imelda to Santa Cecilia with his magic guitar for a Día de los Muertos celebration.
