The Pixar Place Hotel has officially completed its transformation as the first fully-themed Pixar hotel, highlighting the creative process behind favorite Pixar characters and stories in its design and decor.
As part of the unique offerings at Pixar Place Hotel, two characters from popular Pixar films will be appearing for the first time to greet guests at the hotel. Keep reading for more details about these two characters and where you'll be able to meet them at the Pixar Place Hotel!

New Pixar Place Hotel Characters
At the Pixar Place Hotel, Bing Bong, the sweet imaginary friend of Riley in the “Inside Out” movie, will be greeting guests for the first time. Bing Bong will be making appearances with his rocket wagon on the rooftop level near the Pixar sports court area and the pools.

Only hotel guests can meet Bing Bong on the rooftop. While the experience is meant for Pixar Place Hotel guests, those staying at the other Disneyland Resort Hotels should also be able to come visit. We expect this character meet and greet to be popular with guests! We will update this article based on our experience during the normal days at the hotel with how the meet and greet works.
Look how cute this character meet and greet setup is below. Bing Bong will greet guests every day of the week.
Also appearing at the Pixar Place Hotel will be Joe Gardner, who will be playing the piano in a “Soul”-inspired alcove. Joe will be playing some jazz tunes and engaging with guests to ask what makes them happy and learn what their passion is. Joe will be appearing five days a week on select days at the Pixar Place Hotel. This is a really cool and unique format to be able to enjoy the music from the piano and engage with Joe as a character!
