Biergarten Restaurant in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion is one of my family’s favorite restaurants at Disney World. This themed restaurant offers a lively, all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet, which is themed to feel like a festive Oktoberfest village gathering. The dining space is themed like an outdoor courtyard under a night sky and a stage with live performers. The menu focuses on traditional German comfort food, which will be familiar to most picky eaters. Any buffet that offers potatoes and mac-and-cheese is often a win for those groups.

Since this restaurant offers such spacious seating, it is also one of the easiest restaurants to get a last-minute Disney World dining reservation for. Often, my family will end up eating here on a whim just to escape the rain or heat. But we also love Biergarten Restaurant during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, so it’s a great choice year-round.
Biergarten is also considered one of the better values at EPCOT for table service options because it bundles food and live entertainment into one set price. The price is per person, with $49 per adult and $28 per child (ages 3–9), plus tax and gratuity. This is a great deal for the experience and quality of food you receive.
Biergarten Offers Best Food for Picky Eaters
The menu at Biergarten features traditional German comfort food, including sausages, schnitzel, roasted chicken, pretzels, spaetzle, sauerkraut, and warm potato dishes. You can also find plenty of salad options, desserts, and soups. The Nudel Gratin, a German-style mac and cheese, is our family’s favorite dish here. It’s macaroni baked in a creamy, rich sauce made with Swiss and white cheddar cheese.
It is a very straightforward, appealing menu to many groups because it offers a variety of adventurous options plus familiar flavors. This is a great option for picky eaters who prefer simple, non-spicy, or less adventurous cuisine.
And of course, the Sauerkraut is a hit with most groups, especially if you are traveling with any Midwesterners.
There is a large dessert lineup, including a giant board of hand-pulled apple strudel. You always get the most bang for your buck at the all-you-care-to-enjoy buffets at Disney World, and Biergarten is no exception.
There is also a large selection of German wine and beer you can purchase at an additional price. Soft drinks are included in your buffet price. And in traditional German style, you can even get shots of Jägermeister.
Easy to Enjoy Theatrical Dinner Experience
One of the best aspects of Biergarten, aside from the food, is the live polka band that plays throughout the day to celebrate Oktoberfest. You are getting a theatrical dining experience here that often goes overlooked. The talented musicians will play a variety of instruments, and the audience will be encouraged to clap along. Sometimes, kids will be invited down to the area by the stage to dance, which is a fun aspect.
During the holidays, this becomes one of the best restaurants to enjoy with its decorations and holiday music. Plus, this is one of the restaurants that offers reserved seating for the popular Candlelight Processional. The entertainment at Biergarten ties the entire experience together.

Overall, Biergarten Restaurant is one of EPCOT’s most immersive table-service meals and one of the easiest to get dining reservations. This restaurant is one of our favorites with good value for the price, quality food, and an immersive atmosphere. Because this restaurant is so accessible and easy to snag a reservation for, it’s been years since we’ve done a Disney World trip that didn’t include a meal at Biergarten!
