Classic Fantasyland Ride Refurbishment Dates
We previously shared how King Arthur Carrousel in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park will close for refurbishment starting July 6, 2026. The last day to ride before the closure is July 5. Until now, Disney had not clarified how long the refurbishment would last.

Disneyland’s calendar now states that King Arthur Carrousel will reopen on July 17, 2026.
In total, the attraction will be closed for 11 days, so the work will likely involve small-scale maintenance rather than a huge overhaul.
The reopening date is serendipitous for this ride, as July 17 is Disneyland’s 71st birthday, and King Arthur Carrousel is an opening day attraction. Other ride closures are currently ongoing throughout Disneyland. Pirates of the Caribbean has been closed since May 4, with no reopening date announced. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters closed for refurbishment in April, and Disney just announced a reopening date just in time for the June 19 release of Toy Story 5.
