Upon touchdown in Orlando, these guests can skip baggage claim and proceed directly to their Disney World hotel. Disney delivers guests’ checked bags to their hotel, partnering with a third-party service called BagCheck.

This service began as a test in spring 2025 before officially rolling out in November 2025, but only to guests staying at hotels in Disney World’s “value” tier and flying with Southwest Airlines.

As of May 19, 2026, Disney expanded the free airport luggage delivery service to include American Airlines and United Airlines, continuing to offer Southwest. This was previously rumored, but is now in place.

With the change, the service is still only eligible for guests staying at a value-tier Disney World hotel. These include:

Disney also assists in the luggage delivery for guests’ return trip home. Guests can drop off their checked bags in their hotel lobby before their flight, and Disney and BagCheck take care of them from there. Travelers pick up their luggage at baggage claim at their home airport.

To use this service, travelers fill out this form on Disney World’s website as early as 30 days before their flight, but no later than 24 hours before their flight.

Free luggage delivery for guests at any Disney resort was previously offered as part of Disney’s Magical Express, which also provided free transportation from MCO to Disney World. Magical Express was discontinued in 2022.

Airport travelers are now responsible for arranging their own transportation from MCO to Disney World, whether through a rideshare service or Mears Connect, a bus service similar to Disney’s Magical Express, but for a charge. We captured the image at the top of this article welcoming guests to Orlando on our way down to use the Mears Connect service yesterday.

More Changes and Perks at Select Value Hotels

Herbie Love Bug at All-Star Movies

Disney will spend the rest of this year renovating the guest rooms at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. The work will be performed in phases, so as not to close the entire hotel at once. We look forward to seeing what changes here, as the rooms were just renovated less than a decade ago.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are two of the four hotels designated as Cool KIDS’ SUMMER Resorts from May 26 through September 8, 2026, as part of a broader summer campaign in the theme parks. The other participating hotels are Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, both of which belong to Disney’s “moderate” hotel tier. At these resorts, guests with young kids can expect lots of extra perks.
