We recently wrote about when we anticipated Oogie Boogie Bash tickets would go on sale based on past years, and now we have news that the ticket sale will be earlier than anticipated.
Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash event, which takes place at Disney California Adventure, is by far the most popular after hours event of the year. Tickets have sold out the past few years. Disneyland Shares Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets On Sale Information
Oogie Boogie Bash runs on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm in Disney California Adventure. Ticket holders can enter the park at 3:00 pm during mix-in hours. The party features candy treat trails, attractions, and party entertainment. We always watch closely for which unique characters are coming. Guests are allowed to dress up for this event. Today, we got a surprising reveal of when the Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 party dates are going to go on sale. Surprising because it is earlier than we expected and because the news was buried in a bottom of an email to Disneyland Magic Key Annual Pass Holders.
In an email to Magic Key holders, Disneyland shared that the Oogie Boogie Bash presale will happen on June 16, 2026 for Inspire Key holders and June 17, 2026 for all Magic Key holders. We did not yet get a date for the general public tickets on sale, but can easily predict it based on historical precedent.
Last year, Magic Key holders with Inspire Magic Key holders got to purchase tickets on June 24 and all Magic Key holders had access to the pre-sale starting on June 25. General public tickets then went on sale on June 26 at 9:00 am.
Thus, we anticipate that the general public ticket sale this year will be on Jun 18. We will report back when that date is confirmed, though it is a very sale assumption that the ticket sale will be held that week.
Disneyland previously announced all of the ticket dates for the Halloween party. Oogie Boogie Bash will be held on 33 nights in 2026.
Looking back at previous years, the dates in October closest to Halloween, the weekend party dates which are all held on a Sunday, and the first date of the party are typically the ones that sell out the fastest.
We recommend being ready to purchase tickets during the time slot that is available to you if you have a specific date in mind. While the party tickets will not be gone in one day if it is the same as last year, the tickets will very quickly start to sell out so it is important that if you want to attend you have your dates in mind.
When it is your day to purchase tickets, be online and ready to join the queue before the on sale time. This time should be released in the coming weeks ahead of the sale. When the ticket sale starts, you will be assigned a randomized place in line to be able to buy tickets.
