All the Oogie Boogie Bash Characters at Disneyland’s 2025 Halloween Party

Halloween at Disneyland is a fun seasonal celebration featuring ride overlays, themed foods, spooky decor, and more, along with the popular Oogie Boogie Bash ticketed event at California Adventure. There are so many popular Oogie Boogie Bash characters on the list and new villains!

We attended the first night of Oogie Boogie Bash last year, and below we will share the new and returning characters we saw with a mix of photos from this year and previous parties.

NEW Oogie Boogie Bash Villains

The 2025 Oogie Boogie Bash Treat Trail villains have not yet been revealed, but you can see details from last year for reference until we know more. 

We had a ton of fun joining the crowds for the first night of Ooogie Boogie Bash last year (which happened earlier than ever before). There are so many fun characters throughout that you can see during the party.

There are two new Oogie Boogie Bash villains appearing at the party with Treat Trail locations! These villains were originally teased by Disney and later confirmed ahead of the parties. Here is a look at Hades, god of the Underworld and the antagonist from Disney's Hercules.

His hair turns red along with his surroundings when he's angry, as seen below. You can find him at the Hollywood Backlot Stage.

The other new Treat Trail villain is the evil scientist Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb. You can find this new villain at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land! What do you think of this one? It definitely feels a bit creepy to me.

Oogie Boogie Bash Villains Returning From Last Year

There were also two Oogie Boogie Bash villains who debuted recently and returned for last year's parties.

It's fitting that Robert Callaghan, also known as the masked villain Yokai from the movie Big Hero 6, was a new villain this past year given the recent reimagining of Pacific Wharf into San Fransokyo Square. After the tragic death of his daughter, the former head robotics professor turned villain uses an army of microbots that he controls with his mind to exact his revenge. Yokai is an impressive villain to take up residence in the new San Fransokyo Square and is pretty intimidating as you approach his stage!

In Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the main villain Judge Doom is determined to ruthlessly wipe out Toontown in favor of building a freeway over the area, with the help of the five Toon Patrol weasels. In his new character appearance at Oogie Boogie Bash, we see him standing by a bucket of the “Dip” used to kill cartoon characters in the film and periodically he will lower the same cartoon shoe into the Dip. Disney did a fantastic job bringing him to life!

Several characters, including some who only very rarely show up at Disneyland, have appeared in past years at Oogie Boogie Bash at the Villain Treat Trails and character meet-and-greets that occur during the party. Here is a list of all the characters we've seen at this event:
