Closures Making Way for New Bluey Experience

Bluey and her sister, Bingo, are set to arrive at Disney World this summer in an all-new meet and greet experience. The stars of the hit Disney+ show will be around to meet, dance, and play games with guests, just a train ride away at the Conservation Station area of Animal Kingdom. Disney has also announced an animal experience where guests will have the opportunity see and learn about animals native to Bluey’s home, Australia.

To make way for the new Bluey experience, Disney has released the dates of some closures over at Animal Kingdom’s Conservation Station. On Feb. 23, 2026, both the Wildlife Express Train and the Affection Section will be temporarily closed to begin work on Bluey and Bingo’s new meet and greet area.

Disney has not yet announced when these attractions will reopen. This closure is not too unexpected, as Disney will need time to convert part of this area to prepare both for the character interaction and the Australian animal experience. It’s unknown yet if the petting zoo will still be offered when the area reopens, but there has been a rumor circulating for the last three weeks that it will be closing permanently.

Along with the duo’s arrival at Walt Disney World, Bluey and Bingo will be making their way to Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line.

On March 22, 2026, the Fantasyland Theater at Disneyland will officially be transformed into Bluey’s school. According to Disney, guests will be able to “see The Grannies, dance with Chattermax, eat favorite foods inspired by the animated series at Troubadour Tavern and more.” Bluey and Bingo will also take the stage for musical performances and games inspired by the show, like Keepy Uppy. Guess will also be able to experience a life-sized gnome village and a fairy garden.

Over on the Disney Cruise Line, Bluey and Bingo will be joining guests on the Disney Dream and the Disney Wish. The sisters are setting sail with the Disney Dream starting now during February departure dates and will later board the Disney Wish in June 2026.

On both ships, guests can join Bluey and Bingo for a morning celebration called Wakey Wakey, as well as a family game show and dance party called Who’s Behind the Curtain. At the end of the day, the Pyjama Bash will have freeze dancing and more games with the sister duo. Other activities like scavenger hunts and crafts will be offered throughout the day onboard.
