1. DOLE Whip

DOLE Whip

Even if you've never been to Disney World, it's very likely you've heard about their amazing DOLE Whip dessert. The most popular location these frozen treats can be found is at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom's Adventureland.

A trip to Disney World is not complete without experiencing a cool, refreshing DOLE Whip. A popular, sought-after treat of Disney Guests, DOLE Whip is a refreshing soft-serve frozen treat that blends the delicious flavors of pineapple, vanilla, or a blend of the two, into either a Pineapple Float, Pineapple DOLE Whip Cup, or Pineapple Upside Down Cake served with Pineapple DOLE Whip. Disney World also offers an adult version, serving DOLE Whip with alcohol (Captain Pineapple has coconut rum infused with the classic Dole Whip found at Tamu Tamu Refreshments, while Spikey Pineapple is served with Bradancourt Pango Rum and DOLE Whip and can be found at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto.

Can’t get enough of this tropical delight? You are not alone! The popularity of this guest favorite has it popping up at numerous places around Disney World property. DOLE Whip can also be found at the following places around Disney World: Pineapple Lanai and Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto (Disney’s Polynesian Resort); Tamu Tamu (Animal Kingdom); Snack Shack (Typhoon Lagoon Water Park); Swirls on the Water (Disney Springs); Storybrook Treats (Magic Kingdom); Refreshment Outpost (EPCOT); and others! See all of the DOLE Whips you can get at Disney World ranked!

This popular treat claims our number one spot for Disney World desserts for a reason!

2. Gideon's Bakehouse Cookies

Gideon's Bakehouse Cookies at Disney Springs

The half pound cookies found at Gideon's Bakehouse are our absolute favorite dessert at Disney Springs and one of our favorites in all of Disney World! These cookies are so popular that guests typically have to wait in a long line or virtual queue.

Gideon's offers a variety of menu items including their famous cookies, cake slices, or unique iced coffee flavor (my favorite is the Peanut Butter Cold Brew!). They also offer a Hot Cookie Hour twice a day when guests can enjoy warm cookies straight from the oven.

These heavy and decadent cookies can be enjoyed over several days or shared with a friend if you are generous enough to share! We love visiting the spooky Victorian-themed bakery anytime we are at Disney World.

3. Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich

Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich

Another standout Disney World dessert is the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich, which you'll find in the DinoLand U.S.A. section of Animal Kingdom at Dino-Bite Snacks. This dessert features vanilla ice cream between two freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. The Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich is huge and tastes completely fresh. If you're feeling like getting some ice cream at Animal Kingdom, this is the best way to do it!

4. Everglazed Donuts

Everglaze Donuts at Disney Springs

For the donut lovers out there, we highly recommend Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew! This bakery is located in the West Side area of Disney Springs between the AMC Movie Theater and Splitsville Luxury Lanes.

Everglazed has everything you can think of, from classic donuts, “funky” donut flavors such as S'mores Galore and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and even donut sandwiches including The Donut Burger! I also love their specialty coffees, especially the Purple Reign iced chai tea made with purple ube coconut milk, coconut syrup, and ube syrup. Their donuts always taste fresh and their unique flavors make Everglazed one of our favorite spots to find the best Disney World desserts!

5. Caramel Popcorn

Germany pavilion EPCOT

The Caramel Corn is another one of our favorite Disney World desserts that you'll find at Karamell-Küche in the Germany pavilion of EPCOT's World Showcase. This is one of the most popular dessert items in World Showcase, and you get a lot of value for your money with this dessert since the bag is such a large size. The Caramel Corn is especially popular around the holidays because visitors will buy it to take home. This popcorn is much better than the store-bought kind because it's made fresh on-site!

6. Woody's Lunch Box Tarts

Raspberry pop tart Toy Story Land

One of our favorite desserts at Disney's Hollywood Studios is the lunch box tarts found at Woody's Lunch Box in Toy Story Land!

Try the most rootin’, tootin’-est sweet treat in all of Andy’s backyard! This mouthwatering pastry is a must-try treat because it is filled with sweet raspberry marmalade and coated in rich strawberry fondant and sprinkled with crispy pearls!

One of the best parts about the lunch box tarts is that they are available all day during breakfast, lunch, and dinner! There are often limited time offerings of different tarts such as the lemon-blueberry tart with lemon filling and blueberry frosting. Guests can use mobile ordering through the My Disney Express app to pre-order this tasty dessert and other delicious food at Woody's Lunch Box.

7. Mickey-Shaped Beignets

Mickey Beignets at Port Orleans Resort

One of our favorite desserts on Disney property are the mickey-shaped beignets located at Scat Cat's Club at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter. Scat Cat's is a small café located near the main lobby of this beautiful New Orleans-themed resort. Scat Cat's also serves specialty coffee and tea including cappuccinos, café au lait, and espresso which go very well with a beignet! Unfortunately, there is no mobile ordering service available, however, there are also no reservations required and therefore guests can simply wait in line to order this fan-favorite dessert.

Mickey-Shaped Beignets beg to be eaten again and again! I can attest to that! Sink your teeth into this soft, warm doughnut-like pastry that melts in your mouth with every bite. Served with a generous helping of powdered sugar, Mickey-Shaped Beignets should leave your face and clothes smothered in powdered sugar goodness! Guests also have a choice between salted caramel, strawberry, or chicory chocolate ganache dipping sauces (we highly recommend the chocolate!). Beignets should be eaten warm so plan on indulging in this rich dessert right when they are served to you! Although they are not Mickey-shaped, guests can also order a vegan and gluten free version of the beignets which are just as delicious!

We also recommend the Baton Rouge Beignets, which are “jazzed up” with a choice of Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, Kahlua Liqueur, or RumChata Liqueur. Scat Cat's also serves a Mickey-Shaped Beignet Sundae with choice of ice cream and sauce topped with whipped cream.

8. Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich

Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich at EPCOT

As a macaron lover myself, I absolutely love the Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich from L'Artisan des Glaces which is located in the French pavilion in EPCOT's World Showcase.

This unique sweet treat combines the shells of a macaron with a creamy ice cream filling that will sure to delight all guests visiting EPCOT, especially on a hot Florida day! L'Artisan des Glaces also offers a variety of ice cream desserts as well as an Ice Cream Martini including two scoops of ice cream, a shot of Grand Marnier, and whipped cream vodka or rum.

9. Norwegian Kringla

Kringla from Norway Pavilion at EPCOT

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe at the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT's World Showcase serves another favorite Disney World dessert. If you are searching for a little magic, then look no further than this bakery's namesake, the Norwegian Kringla.

This sweet Nordic-style pretzel can be rolled in either almond slivers or iced with chocolate based on your personal preference. Both of these options are plant-based and serve as a great sweet and savory option on your next trip to EPCOT!

10. Warm Cinnamon Roll

Warm Cinnamon Roll at Gaston's Tavern

Although we are fans of the Mickey-shaped cinnamon rolls found throughout Disney World property, they simply cannot beat the warm cinnamon rolls found at Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland.

This massive cinnamon roll costs only $6.99 which is not only a great deal but one of the best desserts at Disney World. Compared to the Mickey-shaped cinnamon rolls, we think these generally taste more fresh, especially the glaze topping, and are overall a better deal when searching for an amazing Disney World dessert! We recommend pairing this dessert with LeFou's Brew, which consists of frozen apple juice and a hint of toasted marshmallow topped with all-natural passion fruit-mango foam.

11. Night Blossom

Night Blossom Drink at Animal Kingdom

One of our favorite sweet treat drinks can be found at Pongu Pongu in Animal Kingdom's Pandora – The World of Avatar.

One out-of-this-world beverage every Guest visiting Pandora should experience is the Night Blossom! The Night Blossom blends the sweet and sour flavors of lime, apple, and pear topped with burst-in-your-mouth passion fruit Boba Balls! This is a very “Instagram” friendly beverage that is just as delicious as it is beautiful.

Guests over 21 years old can also order this amazing drink with Bacardi Superior Rum which I personally recommend!

12. Nomad Lounge Churros

Churros at Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom

The Nomad Lounge is our favorite lounge at Disney's Animal Kingdom and sells the best churros on Disney World property!

I honestly do not recommend buying a churro at any of the Disney World theme park kiosks because they are often dry or stale. However, The Nomad Lounge's churros, which are served with vanilla crema or other seasonal sauce, are absolutely worth trying. These churros are always a hit and are the only churros I will eat at Disney World, making them some of the best Disney World desserts! The Nomad Lounge is a first-come, first-served lounge offering small plates and a variety of unique cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. There is also a walk-up list you can join on the My Disney Experience app.

13. Kitchen Sink Sundae

Kitchen Sink ice cream sundae

If you're looking to share a classic sweet treat with a few friends or family members, look no further than the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop in Disney’s Beach Club Resort.

An overload of sweet goodness that has something for everyone in your family, the Kitchen Sink Sundae is filled with scoops of creamy vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, cookies and cream, and mint chocolate chip ice cream, dowsed in every topping behind the counter – cherries, cookies, bananas, whipped cream, chocolate syrup… basically everything and the kitchen sink! This item on our list of Disney World desserts is great item for sharing and could easily serve four.

14. The Grey Stuff

The Grey Stuff at Be Our Guest

Based on the Grey Stuff from the Beauty and the Beast animated classic, guests can order this delicious treat at the Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland.

If you happen to be a guest at this elaborate dining room straight out of the Beauty and the Beast movie, dare to try the Grey Stuff! Lumiere's special “Grey Stuff” is a cookies and cream panna cotta typically served on top of the Master’s Cupcake. You don't have to take my word for how delicious this sweet treat is… just ask the dishes!

For cupcake lovers, Gaston's Tavern in Fantasyland also offers The Grey Stuff Cupcake! For only $5.79, guests can purchase this chocolate cupcake topped with the “Grey Stuff” and crispy pearls.

15. Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake

Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake at Liberty Tree Tavern

The family-style Liberty Tree Tavern offers guests another amazing Disney World dessert – the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake. Liberty Tree Tavern is located in the Liberty Square area of Magic Kingdom Park.

This very rich and sweet toffee cake is served with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. It is always a fan favorite when I take family and friends to Magic Kingdom! We highly recommend snagging a reservation for this restaurant before visiting.

16. Jack-Jack Num Num Cookie

Num Num Cookie at Hollywood Studios

One of the best cookies at Disney World can be found at the Neighborhood Bakery in Disney’s Hollywood Studios'  Pixar Place near Toy Story Land.

The Num Num Cookie is like no other chocolate chip cookie you will ever have making it a great choice for our list of Disney World desserts! This hearty, incredibly good cookie is served warm, right out of the oven. Oversized chocolate chips melt in your mouth (and hands) as you crunch your teeth into the cookie’s hard outer shell, exposing a warm gooey inside.
