Some of the more intimate hotels in Disney World include the Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, and Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is consistently ranked as one of the best and most romantic hotels in Orlando. This resort portrays Victorian elegance with its iconic white exterior and red roof. This resort boasts a world-class spa, Senses – A Disney Spa and Salon at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, and romantic restaurants, such as Victoria & Albert’s, Narcoossee’s, and Cítricos. Rooms start at $584 per night.
Guests will feel like there are on their own African safari adventure when they stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Guests enjoy spectacular views of savannas, where 30 species of African wildlife freely roam. Couples can also enjoy the 11,000-square-foot pool with a water slide and two whirlpool spas. This resort boasts award-winning dining that includes Jiko – The Cooking Place. Prices start at $388 per room.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort celebrates the spirit of the South Pacific. Walt Disney World Theme Parks
Walt Disney World includes four theme parks: Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. There are two water parks in the resort area: Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
Honeymooners seeking a thrill ride will enjoy Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom, Rockin’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Disney Hollywood Studios, Avatar Flight of the Passage and Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain which are both in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park.
The slower rides at Magic Kingdom can also be fun for honeymooners. Pirates of the Caribbean, “it’s a small world“, and Peter Pan’s Flight can be romantic and relaxing. Strolling through Main Street is also a fun way to spend the day.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park offers guests the opportunity to see hundreds of species of live animals on exhibit. Couples can journey down a romantic, mysterious river on the Na’vi River Journey. Newlyweds can board a reed boat and drift downstream through a series of caves in a bioluminescent rainforest.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, an all-new land, opens in August 2019 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Star Wars fans will truly feel immersed in this galactic experience! Couples will feel like they’re on their first date when they cruise through Toy Story Land. Toy Story Mania allows couples to compete with each other and others while playing carnival games.
For a more relaxing time, newlyweds will enjoy cruising through Epcot and enjoy browsing and feasting their way through the various pavilions. Imagine strolling through eleven different countries in one day! Once the sun sets, couples can watch the watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth show.
Couples should take advantage of the talented Disney PhotoPass photographers in each park. Guests can pose for cute pictures on Main Street, with characters, or with Cinderella’s Castle as the backdrop. There are many scenic spots for cute and romantic photo opportunities. Victoria and Albert’s restaurant is located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and is one of the preeminent restaurants in Walt Disney World Resort. This classic Victorian dining experience has been a AAA Five Diamond Award recipient since 2000. Their menu includes several courses that feature oysters, caviar, lobster, duck, tenderloin, Kobe-style beef, and of course, dessert. Prices start at $60 per adult and guests must wear proper attire.
Monsieur Paul is located in Epcot and is a gourmet restaurant serving classic French cuisine. Renowned chefs have created a spectacular menu that features Chilled Lobster a la Nage, Roasted Duck Breast, Seared Swordfish wrapped in Filo Dough, and Seared Arctic Char Filet. Prices range from $35 to $59.99 per adult. Guests are asked to adhere to the dress code.
The Coral Reef Restaurant is located within Epcot. This tropical restaurant offers spectacular views of a living coral reef and ocean-fresh specialties. Guests can enjoy crispy calamari, sautéed shrimp and grits, oven-roasted chicken breast, and pan-seared salmon. Desserts include turtle cheesecake with caramel and The Chocolate Wave. Prices range from $15 to $34.99 per adult.
Narcoossee’s is located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This casual waterfront setting offers fresh seafood and steak with panoramic view of the lagoon. Couples can enjoy a surf-and-turf dish that features sirloin steak and a lobster tail. Guests are asked to adhere to a business casual dress code. Prices range from $35 to $59.99 per adult.
Citricos is located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Couples can dine on American cuisine infused with Mediterranean flavors, such as scallop risotto, quinoa and provençale ratatouille, and oak-grilled filet of beef. Guests can also browse their award-winning, international wine list. Guests are asked to adhere to the minimum dress code requirements. Prices range from $35 to $59.99 per adult.

Every Disney World theme park and resort offers multiples dining experiences, including quick service restaurants, lounges, table service and character dining. Disney World Honeymoon Experiences
The Disney World Resort offers several romantic experiences that the newlyweds can enjoy. Some of these experiences include floral arrangements, in-room toast, carriage rides, horseback trail rides, surrey bike rentals, specialty cruises, and resort spa services.
Floral Arrangement
Couples can purchase beautiful and unique floral arrangements for their hotel room. Disney Florist Dream Makers offers a variety of floral options, including bud vases, dozen long-stemmed velvet roses or even villainous floral creations! Floral arrangements start around $40 for a simple arrangement and can cost up to $375 for the Wish Come True package, which includes a dozen roses, scattered silk rose petals, candles, champagne, chocolates, and an exclusively designed glass slipper featuring a specialty charm.
Toast to a Happily Ever After
The happy couple can enjoy a toast with Mickey-etched glasses and sip sparkling juice while they dine on a collection of decadent cheese, chocolate and crackers. Carriage Rides

Horseback Trail Rides
Newlyweds can saddle up and ride the beautiful paths of Central Florida’s spectacular wilderness. Surrey Bike Rental
Couples will enjoy pedaling and picnicking along the scenic paths and trails in tandem with each other. This is a charming break from the excitement of the parks! Surrey bikes and individual bikes can be rented at the following locations:

Disney offers couple the option of creating a honeymoon registry service through Honeymoon Wishes. Couples who plan on taking a honeymoon at a Disney Destination can create a registry and friends and family can help grant them their Disney honeymoon wish. The couple can add specific items to their registry, such as park tickets, accommodations, carriage rides, floral arrangements, specific restaurants, luaus, dinner packages, etc. Another option is Fantasy Funds where the couple can use the money toward anything on their trip.
