Universal Studios Hollywood 2025 Holiday Dates
Holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood will take place Monday, November 24, 2025, through Sunday, January 4, 2026.

The two main highlights for entertainment at Universal Studios Hollywood during the holidays are Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Grinchmas. The park will be decorated throughout, and many characters will be in seasonal outfits. Super Nintendo World will also again receive decorations, including themed Mario and Luigi snowmen at the entrance.
Grinchmas at Universal Studios Hollywood
Grinchmas will take place in the Universal Plaza with holiday décor, performances, and interactive activities. Guests can take in the 65-foot Grinchmas tree towers at the center of Who-ville, which acts as the centerpiece of the celebration. Nightly tree-lighting ceremonies will take place along with a stage celebration featuring the Grinch.
Guests can also meet the Grinch, his dog Max, and Cindy-Lou Who in this area, plus enjoy crafts like creating Grinchmas ornaments and filling out postcards for the Who-ville post office.
Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter features décor in the Hogsmeade village with lights, garlands, and themed wreaths. The Frog Choir will perform a traditional holiday a cappella performance, and at night, the land will come alive with “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle”, a nighttime projection show on the castle. This is one of my favorite times of the year to visit Universal Studios Hollywood, especially with the decorations in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
