There are four different locations in the Disneyland Resort to rent a locker.

Disneyland- Main Street, U.S.A.

The lockers here offer two different sizes for $7 and $10 per day. Turn right at the Market House towards the end of the little quaint alley and you'll see the large sign.

California Adventure- Buena Vista Street

The lockers here offer two different sizes for $7 and $10 per day. Both are located near the entrance of the park. One near Guest Services and one near the restrooms and Mortimer's Market.

The Esplanade

These lockers are accessible from Downtown Disney, meaning you don't need park admission to access them, are located in front of Disneyland's entrance in The Esplanade. This location is also near a set of picnic tables if you plan on packing a lunch and offers a larger variety of locker sizes than the ones inside the parks ranging from $7 to $15 per day.

Prices for Renting Lockers at Disneyland

The price for renting lockers at Disneyland depends on the locker size you select. Inside both Disneyland and California Adventure there are two locker sizes available for $7 and $10 per day.

In the location outside the park gates in the Esplanade you will have bigger selections offered for lockers, this location is also near a set of picnic tables if you plan on packing a lunch, with prices for lockers varying from $7, $10, $12 and $15 per day.

The cost of your locker rental includes the entire day and you can access it as many times as you want throughout the day.

Free Disneyland Lockers

There is access to FREE lockers at Disneyland that do not require payment to use. The lockers next to Grizzly River Run in Califonia Adventure are available for use for free for up to two hours.

The purpose of these lockers is so guests can store their belongings in the lockers before riding so everything stays dry. But anyone can use them as they're available before you enter the queue for Grizzly River Run. So if you need a free locker in a pinch, you can use these. But keep in mind that these have a two-hour limit while the rest of the Disneyland lockers allow you to use them for the entire day.

Disneyland Locker Hours

Lockers are only available during the park operating hours and you cannot store items in lockers overnight. If you do forget your items in your locker you can contact Disney's Lost and Found.

We had the unfortunate experience of forgetting our items in our locker just as we walked out the park gates and exited security. We double backed and we were lucky enough to be granted access back into the park by a pleasant Disneyland cast member to grab our items so we wouldn't have to contact Lost and Found the next day.

I recommend setting an alarm on your phone to remind you! I ended up doing this for our remaining days because I was so worried I would forget our items… again! You might think you wouldn't forget something like this but after a long day in the parks it can be easy to let it slip your mind.

How to Use Lockers at Disneyland

Renting lockers at Disneyland is easy and quick. You just need a debit or credit card to use kiosk. Swap your card and pick your locker type. You will be prompted to select a 4 digit pin and this is how you will access your locker throughout the day.

After you pay you will be given a four digit locker number.

Renting Lockers at Disneyland

There are plenty of lockers available and it's extremely rare for lockers to run out at Disneyland. The only times it might come close is during the busy holiday months when everyone is storing their jackets during the day.

I usually take a picture of the locker number so that way I can remember it later. A little paper slip will print out too but I like taking a picture since I know I can't lose that!

The picture above is the $7 locker size inside the resort parks. I've never felt the need for a larger locker based on my experiences using these over the years, we manage to stuff a lot into this size!

Overall, renting lockers at Disneyland is easy and fairly affordable. I am a big fan at doing anything I can to make my day easier and more convenient. I don't mind paying $7 for the day so I don't have to carry jackets, sweaters, merchandise or anything else I might end up carrying. This is especially true if you have kids, instead of carrying all that gear around, put some of it in the locker and save your back.
