Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland has continued to grow in popularity with the last two years of tickets selling out at record fast rates. This increase in popularity led Disneyland to add additional party dates this year with the Halloween party starting in August for the first time in an effort to meet this demand.
We have been anxiously waiting information on when Oogie Boogie Bash tickets would go on sale and we finally got the news from Disney on what date tickets go on sale. And it's SOON!

When Do Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets Go On Sale?
Our prior predictions is that we would see Oogie Boogie Bash tickets go on sale in June which would follow the pattern of the last two years and we were correct. I did hope to see the tickets go on sale a bit earlier than usual, especially with the addition of the August dates, but this year's ticket sale dates are nearly identical to last year's dates.
Inspire Magic Key Holders get access to a limited amount of pre-sale tickets on June 25th with all other Magic Key holder types having access to a limited amount of pre-sale tickets on June 26th.
The 2024 Oogie Boogie Bash tickets will go on sale to all other guests June 27th.
The waiting room to purchase tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash will now open at approximately 8:45 a.m. PT, and sales will begin no earlier than 9 a.m. PT on Disneyland.com.
Earlier this year we saw Disney testing a new process for the virtual queue system that they use for ticketing. This was a big improvement and something I do suggest you look back on in advance of next week. We hope that some of these same advancements around notification are brought to this round of ticket offering.
If you are serious about attending Oogie Boogie Bash this year then you need to be ready to purchase tickets and be online at the time the waiting room opens. Once the ticket sales start, everyone in the waiting room will be given a randomized spot in line to purchase tickets.
I recommend using multiple devices for this process for a better chance at an earlier spot in the queue. I typically utilize both my laptop and my phone and then use whatever device is given a better queue spot.
Last year the tickets on sale process crashed a couple of times and Disney had to postpone the sale of tickets. We hope that they have learned from that lesson.
2024 Oogie Boogie Bash Party Dates
Oogie Boogie Bash this year follows the same pattern as prior years with party dates taking place Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at Disney California Adventure. In an effort to respond to the demand of this popular event, Disney added dates in August for the first time.
Prices for Oogie Boogie Bash vary depending on the night with the lowest priced tickets starting at $134 and the highest priced tickets at $189.

October and Halloween Time is now just as popular as December and the holiday season at Disneyland. Last year we saw Oogie Boogie Bash tickets sell out after just three days of limited sales windows. This was the fastest we've ever seen the Halloween party sell out! I anticipate we'll see a similar demand for 2024 Oogie Boogie Bash.
What If Oogie Boogie Bash Sells Out?
If your dates sell out before you get a chance to purchase tickets, the main hope you have for securing tickets is by staying at Disneyland Resort Hotel. It is possible, but not guaranteed, that Disney MAY release additional tickets to the concierges at the Disneyland Resort Hotels for on-site hotel guests ONLY. They have a record of doing this in the past as a perk for those staying on site.
If you are staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels (Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian, Pixar Place) then you can try to access these tickets on a first come, first service basis at the front desk each morning. This was an option for last year's Oogie Boogie Bash but these tickets went FAST.
Keep in mind, this is not guaranteed and is not something Disney openly advertises. Your most secure method of attending Oogie Boogie Bash is to get tickets during this initial sale.
