New Topiaries at EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Feature Moana, Inside Out Plus Themed Gardens

The 30th anniversary of the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival has officially kicked off at Walt Disney World bringing with it a new gallery and food booths inside CommuniCore Hall along with a new lineup of topiaries.

This is one of my favorite festivals at EPCOT just because of how beautiful the topiaries and floral designs make the theme park look.

The new main topiary highlighted this year is a stunning display featuring characters from Moana that even lights up at night! Other new topiaries this year include a tribute to Inside Out 2 along with gardens that emphasize play and fashion.

The planter’s flowerbeds have been replaced with a sandy beach with the topiaries surrounded by torches and flowers. The display lights up at night with the symbols and etchings on Moana’s oar and Maui’s fish hook glowing.

Inside Out 2 Topiary Display Symbolizes Emotions

Inside Out Topiary

A new garden display, Emotion Garden, features the bright colors to symbolize the emotions from Inside Out 2. The Emotion Garden is located along the walkway to the World Showcase from the other end of the park. Here we can see Sadness highlighted with blue flowers.

On the left of Sadness, we see Disgust represented by “Disgusting” plants which is such a fun touch.

And at the back of the display we can see Fear and Anger represented.

And of course, we have a section of flowers celebrating Joy.

Uncrustables Garden Debuts at EPCOT Flower and Garden

Uncrustable garden

Yes, you read that right! This year’s EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival features an Uncrustables Garden in the interactive Playalong Bay playground area.

EPCOT play area

The Playalong Bay Playground is Presented by Smucker’s Uncrustables and is inspired by Disney’s Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts.

There’s a cute poem written for the area called “The Legend of Playalong Bay” that is such a fun touch.

Play Garden photo op

The theme of the play area is a celebration of “childhood adventures’ and “afternoons spent by the sea.” You can also take advantage of this fun photo op!

New Fashion Themed Garden

Fashion EPCOT Topiary

A new garden celebrating fashion is located in the France Pavilion just outside the La Signature shop. Disney describes this garden as a place where “fashion meets flora” and it definitely fulfills that goal in the beautiful France Pavilion.

The topiaries and gardens at the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival are really what brings this festival to life!
