This year marks the 30th anniversary of EPCOT's International Flower and Garden Festival and Walt Disney World has introduced some new additions to celebrate the occasion.
This year we get to see how the space in CommuniCore Hall is being utilized for the festival which includes a gallery of behind the scenes look at the creation of the festival, a popular outdoor festival booth being moved inside, plus new decorations themed to the festival.
We got the first look at what's new at CommuniCore Hall for the start of EPCOT's International Flower and Garden Festival.

Festival Booth Moves Inside CommuniCore Hall
The Farmers Feast booth which was previously located near Test Track is now inside CommuniCore Hall. This booth will have a rotating menu throughout the festival.
Since CommuniCore Hall allows for more kitchen space, it likely gives this booth more freedom to change dishes. The menu at Farmers Feast will change four times during the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.
There are themed tables for seating inside the hall.
The tables feature fun images celebrating the 30th anniversary of the festival.

Florida Fresh Located in CommuniCore Plaza
Florida Fresh has also been moved from its previous location near Journey Into Imagination with Figment and is now located in the CommuniCore Plaza just outside CommuniCore Hall.
Guests can also take their food inside the hall from this booth if they want to take advantage of the air conditioning.
EPCOT Flower and Garden 30th Anniversary Gallery
This year a new EPCOT International Flower and Garden Gallery showcases the behind the scenes of the festival including details on how Disney's horticulture team creates the popular topiaries you see around the park.
The gallery includes examples of some of the topiaries and signs explaining the process of creating them.
You can also learn more about how Disney brings to life the popular characters featured in the topiaries around EPCOT.
And of course, a spotlight on Figment!
These small gallery exhibits around the hall give guests a chance to learn more about the festival in honor of the 30th anniversary.
You can learn more about the types of flowers used to create the beautiful displays around EPCOT.
There are also “pages” of The EPCOT Festival Almanac in the hall explaining the details of the festival history in more depth.
These pages break down the designs of topiaries in the park like these Flower Towers.
They also share details of the birds that visit the festival!

CommuniCore Hall Decorated for Flower and Garden
CommuniCore Hall is beautifully decorated for the Flower and Garden Festival with themed flowers and plants.
My favorite is this centerpiece featuring Spike the Bee.
Here is everyone's favorite Bee from another angle!
The floor and walls have all been decorated with images of flowers, fruit and vegetables.
Overall, Disney has done a great job utilizing the space inside CommuniCore Hall to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. Having this space is a great convenience especially with the warmer months ahead which overlap with part of the festival.
