Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris just shared some big news about what guests will be able to look forward to as part of an upcoming expansion that will change the name of the park.
In addition to the recently added areas of the park like Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar, there are also some new additions in the park's future. Construction continues on World of Frozen, which will invite guests to explore the kingdom of Arendelle, and there will also be new entertainment at Adventure Bay with a 360-degree viewing area. A particularly exciting new offering that was announced is a brand new Tangled-inspired attraction!
Fans were thrilled to see more details about the Tangled-inspired land taking shape at Tokyo DisneySea's newest themed port Fantasy Springs with a new ride that allows visitors to experience the lantern scene and a restaurant inspired by the infamous Snuggly Duckling from the film. Now, Walt Disney Studios Park is following in their footsteps and introducing a fun Tangled ride for families to enjoy. New Tangled Ride Coming to Walt Disney Studios Park
As Walt Disney Studios Park expands, its name will be changed to “Disney Adventure World,” inviting guests to immerse themselves in a “world of adventure” inspired by favorite Disney stories.

At the new promenade called Adventure Way, guests will find the brand new family attraction “Raiponce Tangled Spin” inspired by Tangled. The ride will take you on a spin through the floating lanterns scene of the movie. Looking at the concept artwork below, the glowing lanterns overhead and the design of the spinning ride are reminiscent of The Mad Tea Party. I imagine it will be especially beautiful to experience at night!

We are happy to see that Tangled is finally starting to get the love that it deserves at Disney Parks with new attractions and experiences based around it. Fans have long expressed that they have wanted to see more Tangled represented beyond the themed bathrooms at Magic Kingdom. The film provides plenty of fantastic inspiration for experiences in the parks, especially the iconic and beautiful lantern scene. It's great to see that there are now two different rides between Tokyo DisneySea and Walt Disney Studios Park that will allow guests to experience this moment.
There will also be a new table-service restaurant called The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge which will offer views of Adventure Bay and the opportunity to meet with Disney Princesses. See the concept artwork for The Regal View below:
