We have received more details on the new two-story Earl of Sandwich location in Downtown Disney. There will be an Earl of Sandwich on the ground level, and the second floor will be home to the table-service The Carnaby Tavern. This restaurant will have a patio with an indoor/outdoor full-service bar. Its design is an “homage to the swinging ‘60s “British Invasion” pop and rock bands from the U.K.” See the concept art for the space above!
Disney shared that the current Earl of Sandwich location will close to transform into Porto's in 2025. No specific date has been shared yet. The pop-up Earl of Sandwich location on the west side of the district will still be available. Currently, both locations are simultaneously open.

We were really sad to see the upscale signature restaurant Steakhouse 55 never reopened after the pandemic, so we've been waiting for more details on these new concepts, which Disney now just revealed will be by a Michelin-starred chef.
Two new restaurant concepts for a steakhouse and barbecue eatery are in progress from Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori. His recent successes include Arthur & Sons, with locations in New York and the Hamptons, and JOTORO Kitchen & Tequila Bar in Tampa, Florida.
The full-service steakhouse will offer a “warm and sophisticated ambiance” with menu offerings including prime cuts of beef, chops, fresh seafood, sandwiches, and chopped salads. There will also be a selection of cocktails available at the steakhouse.
The adjacent quick-service barbecue eatery will offer traditional barbecue dishes including pulled pork, beef brisket, and smoked wings featuring “unique spices and house-made sauces.” There will also be an outdoor bar with a selection of craft beers and moonshine cocktails.
Downtown Disney recently opened three new Mexican restaurants with menus by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán’s, and we have really enjoyed our experience at Céntrico in particular.
