Three NEW Disneyland Shops Will Offer Unique Merchandise & New Sweets—New Details and Opening Dates!

Downtown Disney is in the midst of a major reimagining, introducing new shopping and dining locations for guests to enjoy. New restaurants have been opening recently and more new details were recently announced for dining locations coming to Downtown Disney.

Now, Disney has shared details on some new shopping experiences that will be coming very soon to Downtown Disney. These new shops are being added as part of Downtown Disney's ongoing expansion introducing new experiences to the district. New details and opening dates have been revealed for these new Downtown Disney shops!

New Shopping Locations Coming to Downtown Disney

Disney recently announced more information on the expansion of Avengers Campus, including new details and concept art on the upcoming e-ticket Avengers ride and a surprise new ride. Now, Disney has shared that there will also be a new shopping location coming to Downtown Disney this winter as part of the district's ongoing transformation. The store Avengers Reserve will feature characters and stories through collectibles, apparel, accessories, toys, and comics. Disney shares that the collections will be refreshed regularly.

The design of this new store will be very fun! There will be a 9-foot Incredible Hulk sculpture that has smashed through the wall and Spider-Man climbing above the sign. The interior will have “a high energy, industrial vibe with lighting effects, authentic film props and a media screen with a gaming demonstration station.”

The new Avengers Reserve store will be opening on December 6, 2024.

Another new shop coming to Downtown Disney this winter, the D-Lander Shop, will be a “quintessentially Southern California boutique” with offerings that will be “celebrating trend-forward fashions for Disneyland fans.” The shop will have a selection of apparel, accessories, and jewelry including Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke, and a Pandora Jewelry shop.

The design of the space will be “light, bright and modern with pops of colors,” and it will include a lounge area and fitting rooms with “eye-catching artwork.” The D-Lander Shop will also be opening on December 6, 2024.

Both of these shops will be along the lawn space adjacent to the new Parkside Market. This is right next to the newly completed entrance to Downtown Disney.

Marceline's Confectionary recently closed for a reimagining and expansion, and now Disney has announced a name change for the location. Disney Wonderful World of Sweets will be a “whimsical and colorful” location offering favorite treats like churro toffee, caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops, packaged confections, and Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn.

The reimagined location will also be opening this winter, and until then, guests can enjoy treats from the Marceline’s Confectionery cart. See the concept art for the location above!

Disney also shared that the LEGO Store, which has been closed for refurbishment, will be reopening soon with “refreshed interior spaces” as they work on new sculptures for the exterior.

Another new shopping experience that recently arrived in Downtown Disney is Kawaii Slime, which came to a cart in Downtown Disney this fall.

Kawaii Slime is a mom-owned business offering a variety of slime concoctions and toys featuring different textures, colors, scents, and glittery mix-ins.
