A few new closures have appeared on Disneyland's calendar that will take place right after one of the busiest times of the year at Disneyland. This joins a few other major Disneyland attractions that are closed for longer refurbishments, including Indiana Jones Adventure as well as “it's a small world” which will be reopening with a popular Disney Pixar character added.
At Disneyland Park, there are a couple of new closures that are visible on the calendar. Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room will be closing on April 28 for refurbishment, and Matterhorn Bobsleds will be closing on May 5 for refurbishment (this date was moved back), and no reopening date has been listed for these yet. Dumbo the Flying Elephant is also closing on April 22 for a short refurbishment and reopening April 24.
Another small batch of closures will take place in May. Mad Tea Party is closing on May 5 for refurbishment and reopening on May 7, and King Arthur Carrousel is closing for refurbishment on May 7 and reopening on May 9. Chip ‘n' Dale's GADGETcoaster is closing May 19 for refurbishment, and no reopening date has been listed yet.
Over at Disney California Adventure, Soarin' will be closing for refurbishment on April 28 and will be reopening on May 2.
