Magic Kingdom prepares to welcome some new additions soon as the ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure is currently in previews (see our first reaction to the ride) and Country Bear Jamboree will be opening sooner than anticipated this summer.
Now, Disney has shared that another new addition to Magic Kingdom will soon be in the works as a Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge will be replacing an attraction at the park. The new lounge will be the first Member Lounge in Magic Kingdom and the third member space at Walt Disney World, alongside the location in the Imagination! Pavilion at EPCOT and the Top of the World Lounge – A Villains Lair at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

New Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge Magic Kingdom
The new Disney Vacation Club lounge will be located in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom, and it will be “inspired by the bygone era of exploration and adventure.” The lounge will have a Disney Vacation Club Member Services team, comfortable seating areas, complimentary WiFi, device-charging stations, and more.

In order to make space for this new addition, Frontierland Shootin' Arcade will be closing. In this Old West-themed opening-day attraction at Magic Kingdom, guests can shoot at a variety of moving and stationary targets.
Construction on the new Disney Vacation Club Lounge at Magic Kingdom will begin this year, and more details will be announced in the future.
