Disney Vacation Club has announced its first in-park Welcome Home Center at Disney World that will be opening soon. Disney Vacation Club Home Centers function as a sales center where guests can lean more about Membership options and meet with a sales Cast Member to tour a model room.
This news comes just after a new Disney Vacation Club lounge opened in Magic Kingdom's Frontierland multiple months ahead of schedule. You can see details about that space in our coverage of the new Disney Vacation Club McKim's Mile House.

New Disney World Vacation Club Welcome Home Center
Disney Vacation Club announced on its Instagram that the first in-park Welcome Home Center, called Château de Voyage, will be opening in the Canada pavilion of EPCOT this spring.
According to Disney Vacation Club, “this new space invites guests to explore Membership and visit a model room of Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.” In the post, they mentioned that more details will be coming in the future. Read our review of the new Island Tower at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows here.
The visible construction at the Canada Pavilion has caused us to wonder about what could be coming to this space. We had hoped it could be an expanded restaurant offering. I don't know that thematically having a model room of the new Polynesian Villas as part of the Canada pavilion makes very much sense.
Disney Vacation Club recently opened similar Welcome Home Centers at Disney Springs last year called Gateway to Discovery and inside Disney California Adventure Park in the former home of the Blue Sky Cellar.
While we understand that Disney Vacation Club is a priority business line for Disney, I don't like seeing all of these spaces converted to sales centers and amenities for vacation club guests when they could be exciting new offerings for all guests. The space in Disney California Adventure in particular took away valuable real estate that could again be used to showcase all the new rides coming to Disneyland.
