Disney World has many small details that fans connect with deeply and forever associate with their vacations. Each era of Walt Disney World fan has a specific element that they forever remember. For one group, the “Must Do Disney” with Stacey videos that played on the hotel screens signaled the beginning of a Walt Disney World vacation and welcomed them into the Disney bubble.
Now, Disney has launched a new “Must Do” project with Stacey that has us wondering if we could be seeing her presence expand once again at Walt Disney World. At Mickey Visit we bring you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including a recent update on closed Disney rides in January and construction progress on two new Magic Kingdom lands.

Disney World “Must Do Disney” Stacey Returns in New Project
Disney launched the “Must Do Disney” with Stacey in 2005 as a vacation planning series on the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel televisions. The show featured short segments highlighting different “must-do” rides, attractions, entertainment, dining and experiences across the entire Walt Disney World resort. The show was hosted by Stacey Aswad.

While the show evolved from this initial iteration, the fast pace, upbeat coverage, and energetic host remained the same throughout the entire run. Stacey became a personality recognizable and beloved by Walt Disney World guests.
The series became how many families would start or end their Walt Disney World day. A perfect background loop for starting or ending your day.
The series was phased out in 2021 as Disney focused more on mobile planning tools and information screens on the television. Even so, it remains popular and known among Disney fans who loved watching the series over the 15 year run. Clips from the offering still circulate on social media.
Now, Disney has launched a new project that features Stacey and “must-dos” across Walt Disney World. A new Walt Disney World commercial features Stacey and calls out new “must-dos”.
It features recent additions to Walt Disney World including the Disney Starlight parade at Magic Kingdom, the new villains show and Little Mermaid show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, and more.
The commercial ends with Stacey posed with Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck. She brings them in close and says “hey girls, how ya been?” to end the spot.
The commercial is running on social media with the caption “iykyk. Don’t miss out on a world of must-dos at The Most Magical Place on Earth”.

This is a very cute nod to the “Must Do Disney” series that ran for so many years. Now, we wonder if Disney is considering bringing Stacey back for another run on Disney resort TVs or if there is some other project planned with her. Of course, her return could just be for this commercial to play on the nostalgia for her old program and those years at the resort.
Many major brands have leaned on nostalgia for old projects recently with star reunions. This is kind of Walt Disney World’s version of that. I hope we see more from her or that Disney sees the positive reaction to her “return” to official Disney channels and decides to use her as a social media voice or even back in her slot on resort TVs.
What do you think? Would you like to see Stacey back on your resort TV? Would you watch some YouTube segments from her? What would you like to see Disney pursue here?
