One of our favorite things to do during our vacations to Disney is to spend a few hours visiting the Kennedy Space Center. The Kennedy Space Center is located in Port Canaveral, FL, and is about a 1 to 1.5 hour drive away from Disney World. The best way to visit is to first find Kennedy Space Center discount tickets. I am a Disney World annual passholder and visit Disney and other Orlando-area theme parks monthly. When in Orlando, I also love exploring other parts of the area including restaurants, the beaches, and other activities. The Kennedy Space Center is a relatively short drive from Disney World and is an underrated spot to visit with friends and family. Not only is it educational and interesting, but there are easy ways to find Kennedy Space Center discount tickets! We will discuss the amazing experiences you can have at the Kennedy Space Center and how to find the best-discounted tickets.

Kennedy Space Center Exhibits and Experiences

There are many incredible exhibits and attractions to experience at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex which is open 9 AM – 5 PM daily. These include up-close, hands-on experiences to really appreciate our advancements and accomplishments in space. The complex is organized into Mission Zones, including:

Kennedy Space Center Ticket Price

Without any discounts, 1-day tickets to the Kennedy Space Center are $75 for adults and $65 for children. Two-day tickets are also available priced at $89 for adults and $79 for children, and can be used within a six-month time frame.

Military Kennedy Space Center Discount Tickets

Military members can save $5 on either one or two-day tickets for themselves and a child.

Seniors Kennedy Space Center Discount Tickets

Seniors aged 55 and up can also save $5 on their adult ticket. However, even when purchasing a two-day ticket to save some money, there are also other avenues to purchase Kennedy Space Center discount tickets.

Go City Orlando All-Inclusive Pass

If you are planning on visiting several Orlando-area attractions, definitely consider Go City's Orlando All-Inclusive Pass. This allows guests to choose from many popular attractions with the pass located all around Florida. This pass is also great for guests wanting to visit multiple attractions because there is no limit to the number of attractions you can visit throughout each day. Guests can also choose between a two, three, or five-day pass depending on the length of their vacation. The prices of these passes are:

Junior Space Explorer Pass for Florida Residents

The Kennedy Space Center usually offers discount tickets directly on its website. Currently, it is currently offering free admission throughout 2024 for Florida resident children aged five and under with the Junior Space Explorer Pass. However, to claim the pass, the children must be registered online by February 18, 2024. To register, they must show proof of Florida residency and provide a birth certificate (either a physical or digital copy) or age-identifying document. For families residing in Florida, this is a great way to introduce kids to the world of space and science while also saving money.

Kennedy Space Center Annual Passes

Similar to Disney World and other theme parks, an easy way to get discount tickets is to purchase an annual pass. The Kennedy Space Center has several annual pass options which can help you save money but also enjoy the center many times throughout the year. There are two annual pass options that give guests Kennedy Space Center discount tickets:

1. Atlantis Annual Pass: Guests can purchase the Atlantis Annual Pass for $149 for adults and $120 for children. If you haven't done the math, this price is equal to just two single day admission tickets, which is a great deal for a year or unlimited admission to the visitor complex. Additionally, Atlantic annual passholders receive free parking, 10% off admission for up to six guests per visit, a special lanyard, newsletter, and discounts on food, merchandise, and select educational programs. Even if you only plan on visiting the center three times in one year, this is a great discount option.
2. Cosmic Club Annual Pass: For families with multiple children, the Cosmic Club annual pass is another great annual pass option for $432.10. This pass includes unlimited entry for families including two adults and up to 4 accompanying children. This pass also includes free parking, discounts on admission for additional guests, as well as special Planet Play perks. If your family falls into this category, I would consider purchasing this pass with even one visit to the Kennedy Space Center. For 2 adults and 4 children, the price of a single day admission is $410, only about $22 less than the Cosmic Club pass. For more than one day, this pass is a no brainer!
