This week, a few new Halloween novelties are debuting, including a Witch and Poison Apple Mug served with a Poison Appletini at Carthay Circle Lounge that is seemingly replacing the second edition of the very popular Carthay Circle Spooky Tree Flight with Halloween Appletini. In previous years, the Spooky Tree Flight sold out quickly and was not restocked. It was originally supposed to have its second edition this year, but this was removed from the lineup of Halloween foods and novelties.

Also debuting this week is the last of the new Disneyland Halloween popcorn buckets. This Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington Gravestone Bucket is an especially cool novelty this year that makes for a great Halloween decoration! This will be available at several locations throughout the resort.

Now is still a good time to visit if you want to avoid the October crowds, which tend to be more intense with visitors coming out to visit while the Halloween celebration is running and kids are out of school on fall break. Looking ahead to October, you can expect crowds to increase from the middle of the month onwards. We anticipate a quieter stretch of time in early October, but it is overall one of the busiest months of the year to visit Disneyland.

You can see crowd calendar projections of all upcoming dates in our Mickey Visit Disneyland Crowd Calendar.
