Disneyland Lowers Price on Reserved Fireworks Viewing & Terrace

Disneyland is about to lower the price for one of its entertainment dining packages heading into the holiday season this year. While there are many great dining packages offered at Disneyland that can be worth the splurge, this one is generally less popular and has some downsides, especially considering its currently pretty high cost.

As fireworks dining packages have not been offered at Plaza Inn for the last couple of years, this is one of only a few reserved fireworks viewing options currently available, including the Docking Bay 7 package in Galaxy's Edge and reserved viewing for Disneyland VIP tours. Keep reading for details on when the price change will go into effect for this Disneyland fireworks dining package.

Price Will Be Lowered Soon for Fireworks Dining Package

The Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace: Evening Dining Package includes views of the Disneyland fireworks from the terrace and chilled foods, snacks, and desserts. Guests have access to the terrace, where they can come and go as they please throughout the evening from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

The dining package has some limitations, as projections are not visible from this viewing area, and many on Reddit and Yelp have expressed feeling underwhelmed by the quality of the food offerings. For what the package includes, the current price ($89 per guest) is pretty steep. This is roughly on par with the pricing of the World of Color Dessert Party and Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo Nighttime Gathering, which we think are both better options for what they include.

The Disneyland website shows that beginning November 14, 2025, prices will be reduced to $75 per guest. This change aligns with the start of the Christmas celebration at Disneyland. When this change goes into effect, there will also be some reductions to the adult portion of the menu to align more with what would be typically offered at a dessert party.

Even with the reduced price, it can be hard to justify the cost of this experience with no view of the projections. Along with the music, the projections are a quintessential part of Disneyland's nighttime spectaculars that really amp up the magic and differentiate them from other non-Disney fireworks displays. Personally, I'd rather put the money for a fireworks dining package towards the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo Nighttime Gathering, which includes access to a reserved viewing area for the Fire of the Rising Moons fireworks display and Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga projections. This is definitely a more entertaining option for young kids in particular, with the creative theming of the bento box snack items and the immersive nature of these Star Wars shows.

In a thread about the dining package, one Reddit commenter shared their Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace experience and when they think the dining package is worth it: “I’ve done it twice – once the food was fine, once it was mediocre (for the price). You’re paying for the in/out privileges and having a spot away from the crowds. They may have like some big games up there too iirc? Like jenga or connect 4. The things that the view is not good for projections, so I like skyline terrace for very specific nights, namely 4th of July and NYE, where the fireworks are the main event more than the projections and the park is unbelievably crowded that it makes it worth it to have a spot to retreat.”
