What happens to all the items that aren’t claimed in Disneyland‘s lost and found? Known for its huge discounts on guests’ used items, this longtime sale has been discontinued, but there’s still another way to shop for the same items. Annual Disneyland Lost and Found Sale Discontinued
For years, Disneyland has partnered with Goodwill for an annual sale of unclaimed lost and found items and excess merchandise. The sale was hosted at the Goodwill of Orange County Marketplace in Santa Ana, about 15 minutes from Disneyland.

During these sales, shoppers could purchase used Disney merchandise, as well as overstocked Disney merchandise still with their tags, at significantly discounted rates. Some items were marked down as much as 90% off their regular retail price. Items included hats, headbands, sunglasses, plush dolls, souvenir sipper cups, autograph books, and bubble wands. All of the proceeds supported Goodwill. Millions of dollars were raised over the past decade.
This annual Disneyland unclaimed lost and found sale will not return in 2026, Disneyland officials confirmed to Mickey Visit.
Instead, Disney and Goodwill are changing their strategy for how these same lost and found items are distributed. Rather than browsing for lost and found / overstock items all in one place at an annual event, shoppers can now find a larger supply of these items at the 25 Goodwill retail locations throughout Orange County year-round.

Disneyland also collaborates with the Goodwill Tierney Center for Veteran Services, which provides resources for veterans and their families transitioning to civilian life.
They also work with Goodwill on the Mickey’s Attic Program, where Disneyland Resort merchandise and company assets are donated for resale in Goodwill stores.

During my days as a Disney cast member, part of my responsibilities included collecting lost items from all over Disney’s Animal Kingdom and bringing them to the lost and found at the front of the park. Disney does its best to get these items back in the hands of their owners, but that’s not always possible.
If you’re thinking about visiting Disneyland anytime soon, now is the time to purchase tickets, as a price increase is expected soon. There’s also a flash sale happening for theme park tickets and hotel rooms for even more savings.
