First, we'll go through some of the Halloween foods we tried at Disneyland Park. For all of these quick-service foods, we recommend taking advantage of mobile ordering so you can save time by skipping the ordering line.

We tried the Jack-O’-Lantern Mickey Pumpkin Macaron at Jolly Holiday, a pumpkin macaron shell filled with caramel and pumpkin cheesecake. This is a very cute treat with some nice variety in its filling! We would rate this an 8/10.

At Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe, we also had the Boo-gogi Toasted Sandwich with Corn Cheese Soup. This is a returning item featuring marinated beef, grilled onion, mozzarella, and kimchi aïoli on sourdough, served with corn cheese soup. Again this year, I maintain that this is probably one of the best things I've ever eaten at Disneyland. All of the flavors work together perfectly, and the soup provides a nice contrast. This dish is very filling and easily shareable. I personally rate this a 10/10.

We also grabbed a few Halloween-themed treats (available at Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen, Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, Pooh Corner, and Trolley Treats). The Wizard Mickey Caramel Apple is a Granny Smith apple with marshmallow ears, dipped in caramel and decorated with milk chocolate, an orange sugar robe, white M&M’S Milk Chocolate Candies, and an orange and gray wizard hat. This is always a personal favorite and a must-have treat to take home! I would rate this a 10/10.

We also grabbed a Mummy Mickey Mallow Pop, which is a Mickey-shaped marshmallow pop dipped and decorated with white chocolate, and dark chocolate chip eyes. This is super cute and a quick and easy treat to grab for your kids! I would rate this an 8/10.

We tried the new Mango-Strawberry Lemonade at Little Red Wagon, which is Minute-Maid Lemonade infused with chamoy, strawberry syrup, and mango purée. It has a little bit of a kick to it, but is overall refreshing and not overly sweet. I would rate this a 6/10.

At Alien Pizza Planet, we tried the new Haunted Heatwave Pizza, which is a spiced blush sauce topped with mozzarella and pepper jack, Italian sausage, classic and crispy cupped pepperoni, smoked bratwurst, and sliced red Fresno chiles garnished with basil and hot honey drizzle. This is probably the best pizza slice to ever be sold at Alien Pizza Planet! It's not spicy, but it's super flavorful with a nice kick of the hot honey. A real winner! We would rate this a 10/10.

At Troubadour Tavern, we tried the new Bulgogi Potato. This is Bulgogi-marinated beef, gochujang mayo, spicy cucumber, and green onion. If you like Bulgogi, you’ll love this potato! It's very filling with a ton of flavor! It's quite a good-sized dish for the price, too! We would rate this an 8/10.

At Troubadour Tavern, we also tried the new Trick or Treat Popcorn, topped with a mix of M&M’S Milk Chocolate Candies, candy gummy worms, pretzel sticks, and candy corn. This is a great mix in this adorable vintage box! A winner and a great shareable treat for kids! We would rate this a 10/10.

We also tried another new popcorn, which is the Spicy Pickle Popcorn at Popcorn near Star Trader. This is popcorn tossed with crushed hot cheese puffs and dill pickle seasoning. We were too intrigued to skip this one, but ended up really liking it! It has a nice tangy flavor and a little bit of a kick to it. We would rate it an 8/10.

We tried the Mickey-shaped Pumpkin Salted Dulce Cream Puff filled with pumpkin mousse and salted dulce de leche from Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante. This is a fun little treat to add to your meal at Rancho del Zocalo. Mine had just a little amount of cream and was tasty, but I probably wouldn’t get it again. We would rate this a 5/10.

At Harbour Galley, we tried the new Fresh-baked Pumpkin Cookies (available in a 6 or 13 pack while supplies last). These are a must-try! Get them early in the day to skip the long lines for this popular fall treat! We would rate these a 10/10.

At Stage Door Cafe, we tried The MONSTER Funnel Cake, which is a new item. This is Green funnel cake with chocolate sauce, crumbled brownie, peanut butter candy pieces, and whipped cream. The texture was really good! It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It's very sweet from the chocolate sauce, brownie, and candy. Allergen warning: the candy is peanut butter candy! This is very big and great for sharing. We had a difference in opinion about our ratings for this one—one member of our team who loves sweets ranked it an 8/10 overall, but another member of our team ranked it a 6/10 for adults and 9/10 for kids.

Now, we'll go over some of the treats we tried at Disney California Adventure!

At Schmoozies!, we had the Mickey Mummy Shake, which is a chocolate cookie shake with whipped topping, chocolate cream-filled cookie ears, and M&M’S Milk Chocolate Candies. This is kind of just a standard chocolate milkshake, but there is a generous amount of whipped cream on this! It’s very cute and a good item for sharing. I would rate this a 7/10.

We also tried the new Ursula Enchanted Waffles at Schmoozies!, which are dark chocolate Mickey-shaped waffles filled with ube custard and dusted with powdered sugar. These were nothing to write home about in my opinion. They had a mild chocolate flavor, and the ube filling was sweet but not overpowering in flavor. It was a bit messy to eat with the ube filling. I would rate these a 5/10.

At Aunt Cass Café, we tried the new Walt's Chili in a Mickey-shaped Bread Bowl. This is technically not a Halloween item, but it’s new as of this Halloween celebration. It has a little bit of kick to it, and it pairs nicely with the sourdough bread. I would rate this a 7/10.

We tried the new Buffalo Chicken Loaded Onion Rings at Smokejumpers Grill! These are onion rings topped with buffalo chicken, blue cheese, ranch, carrot ribbons, and green onions. This was a good snack with a lot of variety in flavor. I would rate these a 9/10!

We also tried the new BearPaw Basin Cold Brew at Smokejumpers Grill, which is Joffrey’s pecan cold brew, salted maple cold foam, caramel drizzle, and waffle pieces. This was quite good! I wish it had a little more maple cold foam on it, but overall, this was a great and not overly sweet drink. I would rate it a 7/10.

We tried the new Celestial Churro from Terran Treats, which is a churro rolled in cocoa sugar, topped with pistachio cream, chocolate sauce, crispy phyllo dough crumbles, and crushed pistachios. This is known as the “Dubai Chocolate Churro,” as it definitely has that Dubai flavoring, but in a churro! It's a flavorful, sweet churro that should be at the top of everyone’s list! We would rate this a 10/10.

And last but not least, from Corn Dog Castle, we tried the new Fried Elote Corn on the Cob, which is a whole corn cob dipped in batter and fried to golden brown, drizzled with chipotle aïoli, and topped with chile-lime queso fresco and cilantro, served with Cuties Mandarin Orange or a small bag of chips. This dish is huge and has a tangy and slightly spicy dressing. It’s very flavorful, but I deducted points because it’s a bit hard to eat. We would rate this a 7/10.
