Guests staying at official Walt Disney World hotels receive perks not available to other guests, including a handful of benefits that most visitors overlook. Not all resorts feature the same perks, though. The free service that delivers guests’ luggage to and from the airport has been limited to five hotels, but that will soon change.
Disney World has begun expanding its free airport perk beyond value resorts. We have details on where this service is now offered and how to use it. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including a Hallmark holiday store coming to Disney World and adorable animal vehicles revealed for Disney World’s new ride.

Partnering with a third-party service called BagCheck, Disney picks up guests’ luggage from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and delivers it directly to their hotel. At the end of the vacation, Disney delivers the luggage again from the hotel to MCO.
This means that after guests drop off their checked luggage at their local home airport at the beginning of their trip, they don’t have to worry about handling it, and won’t see it again until they’re at their Disney hotel. The service does not cost any extra charge.
Disney previously only offered the Airport Luggage Transfer to guests staying at hotels in the “value” category.
Effective August 18, 2026, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is now eligible for Airport Luggage Transfer.

Here’s the full lineup of hotels that now offer the free perk:
- Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Guests must be flying with Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, or United Airlines to use the service. Disney briefly added Delta to the list on its website earlier this summer, but quickly removed it. Disney says, “Additional airlines could be added soon.”

The addition of Caribbean Beach to the roster of hotels participating in Airport Luggage Transfer is significant. It’s the first hotel in the list to be categorized in Disney’s “moderate” tier. This indicates that Disney doesn’t intend the service to be exclusive to value-level resorts, and could mean other moderate resorts may follow. The other moderate properties are the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter.
Since this service began as a test in 2025, initially for only three hotels and guests flying with Southwest, it has slowly expanded to additional hotels and airlines.

During a recent stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, I was surprised at the amount of signage I saw for the airport luggage delivery. Disney includes the service on multiple directional signs, and the fonts adhere to the resort’s style guide in a way that temporary lettering likely wouldn’t. In this sense, it definitely feels like a permanent addition that is long past the testing phase.
Rooms at Disney’s All-Star Movies are currently being renovated in phases, with the refurbishments expected to be complete by January 2027.
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will begin a refurbishment of its guest rooms in 2027.
