Disney Outlets in Orlando – Parks Merch on a Discount!

What would Disney World be without its merchandise? Can you imagine going to the parks without seeing the crowd scattered with Disney clothing, sparkling Minnie ears, Loungefly bags, bubble blowers, plush toys, lightsabers, droids, and princess dresses? Along with the rides, attractions, entertainment, and food, the merchandise at Disney World is one of the best parts of the trip which is why the Disney Outlets are so popular!

There are so many shopping locations located throughout the parks, resorts, and at Disney Springs. You’re sure to find something for everyone! However, a common theme on a Disney vacation is that things are expensive. That’s also true when it comes to the merchandise. A pair of Minnie ears costs around $30, Loungefly bags are about $80, it costs $120 to build a droid, a Starbucks tumbler can cost you $30-$50… While not all merchandise is expensive and you can get some items at pretty standard prices, things do add up. Whether you’re paying for multiple people, or you enjoy collecting certain items, things can get pricey pretty quickly.

Luckily, I have some good news for you! There are multiple Disney Outlet Stores not far from Disney World where you can score official Disney Park merchandise at a discounted price! As a frequent visitor of Disney World who enjoys a good Disney merchandise haul, I appreciate when I can get items for less than the original price. I have been to both of these outlet stores and look forward to sharing information with you about them. Follow along to see how you can save on Disney Park merchandise too!

Disney Outlet Stores in Orlando

There’s actually more than one Disney Outlet Store in the Orlando area. There are two stores that both go by the same name: Disney Character Warehouse. One store can be found at the Orlando Outlet Marketplace while the other is located at the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets.

Both of these locations are very easy to get to from the Walt Disney World Resort. The Orlando Outlet Marketplace is only 15 minutes away and the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets are only 9 minutes away! If you have your own vehicle with you on vacation, both of these stores are just a quick drive down the road. If you don’t have your own vehicle with you and would still like to visit these locations, you could consider taking a rideshare!

Perhaps you’re wondering what kind of merchandise you’ll be able to find at these Disney Outlet Stores. Is it just a bunch of leftover stuff that no one was interested in? Is it a store full of  junk and not worth your time?

Absolutely not.

When you walk into either of the Disney’s Character Warehouse locations, it will feel the same as walking into any shopping location at Disney World. The Disney Outlet Stores are great places to visit to get discounted Disney World merchandise, but did you know that there’s another store in Florida where you can get great deals on Disney items? While this store is farther away, it may be worth the trip! Located 34 minutes from Walt Disney World is the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida Thrift Store. Here, you will be able to find an amazing supply of Disney merchandise. If you’re wondering how a thrift store keeps a consistent supply of one particular brand, here’s how: Disney World donates items from their Lost and Found to this thrift store.

Disney World Lost and Found

Now, if you’ve ever lost something at Disney World, or maybe you currently have an item that’s lost there, don’t worry! They don’t immediately get rid of items that they find throughout the resort. If you’ve lost something at Disney World, rest assured that the Cast Members will do their best to reconnect you with your lost item. To report your lost item to  Disney World, simply fill out their Lost Item form by clicking here.

That being said, not every item is reconnected with its owner. Some Guests may not even notice that they’ve lost something! As you can imagine, due to the size of Walt Disney World Resort and the amount of Guests and Cast Members that are there everyday, the Lost and Found has to be overflowing and Disney can’t keep those items forever. Once a certain amount of time has passed and items haven’t been claimed, Disney has to get rid of those items to make room for more lost items that come in.

That’s how so many amazing Disney items end up at the Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida Thrift Store. Of course, there won’t be a set inventory of items, but you’re sure to find some amazing things at great prices! From a quick look at their Facebook page, you can see that their Disney items include things such as clothes, hats, phone cases, plush toys, Minnie ears, Loungefly bags, strollers, and more!

Please keep in mind that the items at the thrift store will most likely be used. If that’s something that you’re uncomfortable with, then you may want to stick to the outlet stores for great Disney deals.
