Top Disneyland Ride and Another Attraction Closure End Dates Scheduled

Throughout the year, Disneyland will close rides for routine refurbishment to make sure they are operating in top shape. There are a few Disneyland rides currently closed for refurbishment this summer, including a major thrill ride in Disney California Adventure that just closed yesterday.

Disney California Adventure Reopenings

We can now see on the Disneyland calendar that both the Incredicoaster and Redwood Creek Challenge Trail will be reopening on August 15. Both of these rides are reopening right before the start of the Halloween celebration at Disneyland (on August 22) and the closure of Radiator Springs Racers (on August 18) for a refurbishment that will last a little over a month. Redwood Creek Challenge Trail's reopening is timed a couple of days before the kickoff of the Oogie Boogie Bash parties, where it is transformed into the spooky villains-inspired scenescape, Villains Grove.

The Incredicoaster had a refurbishment of a similar length last year in April, during which time the track of its signature loop was temporarily removed. During the Incredicoaster's two-week-long refurbishment, you can expect that the other key thrill rides in the park, Radiator Springs Racers and Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! will be in slightly higher demand.
