Beverage Education & Tasting Seminars Overview

The Beverage Education & Tasting Seminars span across the entirety of the festival and feature different types of drinks, highlighting different locations and companies. The Beer Education & Tasting Seminars highlight beer makers like Stone Brewing, Crowns & Hops Brewing Co., Karl Strauss, and more.

Some of the Mixology Seminars feature favorite locations in the parks that are known for their drinks like Lamplight Lounge, Oga's Cantina, and Carthay Circle Restaurant. For example, in Disney Mixology featuring Oga's Cantina, you'll attend a seminar led by Oga's bartenders and mixologists and have the opportunity to make and drink one of the cocktails offered at the iconic location.

Reservations for these seminars are required. To attend a seminar, you need to have theme park admission and a theme park reservation for the same date, which is not included in the price of the event when you book it.

If space is still available, bookings can be made through the day of the event. Because space is limited, we recommend booking experiences as soon as possible. On the Disneyland website, you'll see a page of the event listings and follow the “book now!” links to be taken to a page of options for each type of Beverage Education & Tasting Seminar, then you'll select “Get Tickets & More Information” for the one you're interested in that will take you to a page to purchase. Once you book, there are no cancellations, exchanges, or refunds. Only guests ages 21 and older are permitted to attend these seminars, so any child or infant who is underage will not be allowed in the venue.

There are also some special Disneyland Resort Hotel events and classes offered during the California Food & Wine Festival at both the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and the Disneyland Hotel, which we will discuss more below. The events offered include a Food & Wine Experience at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, a new Dinner and Scotch Event at the Hearthstone Lounge, and a Mixology Class at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Lounge.

Beverage Education & Tasting Seminars Pricing

  • Beverage Education & Tasting Seminars: Beverages: $25.00
  • Beverage Education & Tasting Seminars: Mixology: $25.00
  • Beverage Education & Tasting Seminars: Wine: $25.00

We believe that these seminars are fairly priced and that they make a visit to the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival feel like a lot more of a special experience.
