Downtown Disney is the shopping and dining district at the Disneyland Resort. The area was added in 2001 when the Disney California Adventure theme park opened at Disneyland. We are constantly covering the latest Downtown Disney news here at Mickey Visit.
The area is now home to number of different stores and restaurants. The district is in the middle of a multi-year expansion to add in new offerings and elevate the theme.
Gone is an AMC Movie Theater, ESPN Zone, and Rainforest Cafe, and in are hip new dining options and Disney-themed stores.
