Construction has begun on the Batuu Bounty Hunters Guild at Disneyland! This new experience has already launched at Walt Disney World and is now coming to Disneyland.
Batuu Bounty Hunters takes you on a journey throughout Galaxy’s Edge tracking down 20 criminals wanted for treason, smuggling, and such. If successful, you will be rewarded with credits and may even be invited to join the local guild.
And, construction for the Batuu Bounty Hunters Game Station at Black Spire Outpost recently began in Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge.
What's Batuu Bounty Hunters?
Here’s how Batuu Bounty Hunters will work. Guests will be able to pick up a bounty at the Game Station. This interactive experience can be done with the help of the MagicBand+ and the Play Disney app.

The Disneyland MagicBand+ is an adjustable, waterproof wristband that can enhance your vacation. With the small radio frequency chip inside, it can connect to your theme park ticket so you can enter with less hassle, access your Lightning Lane reservations, and has the ability to engage in certain interactive experiences, like this one!
The MagicBand+ will help you track the criminal by using a simple red light/green light system – if it lights up red, that means you’re moving away from your target. If it’s green, that means you’re heading in the right direction.
The MagicBand+ will light up purple once you’ve located your target, who will typically be hiding behind a door or panel. Then you will use the “thermal scanner” in the Play Disney app to identify said target. Return to the Game Station to turn in your bounty and be rewarded for your efforts.
While Disneyland currently does not have the MagicBand+, it was announced by Disney last year that it would be arriving sometime in 2022.
