In Disney California Adventure, a big focus of the seasonal offerings is new alcoholic beverages. You’ll find a bunch of new cocktails and beers during the season, and these are actually a large portion of the new Disney Festival of Holidays items this year. There are a lot of repeat food items this year for that specific celebration.
Starting off with the general Disneyland Christmas foods, there are several favorite treats returning, like the iconic Mickey Gingerbread, Peppermint Mickey-shaped Beignets, Thanks-mas Sandwich, Gingerbread Cookies, Chocolate-Peppermint Sundae, Cars-mas Tree Cone, and much more.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe always has the cutest holiday treats, and this year is no exception! The one that caught our eye is the new White Mocha-Peppermint Tree-shaped Macaron, filled with peppermint buttercream and a coffee bundt cake center. We always enjoy the macarons at Jolly Holiday and how picture-perfect they are! We have a feeling this treat will become a holiday mainstay.

Royal Street Veranda has a new Hot Spiced Apple Cider topped with caramel whipped cream that looks interesting! This would be the perfect cozy drink to enjoy on a chilly morning or evening.
At Galactic Grill, we always like trying the seasonal parfaits. Some are hits and some are misses, but this one looks promising! Plus, they are just so fun to eat. The Holiday Parfait contains layers of chocolate cake, edible cookie dough, marshmallow mousse, chocolate crunch, chocolate mousse, and ganache finished with colored mousse, star glitter, and truffle shell.

Building on the popularity of the Ursula Enchanted Waffles (with an ube filling) from the Halloween season, we now have a holiday version of this treat at Schmoozies. This season’s offering is Red Velvet Mickey-shaped Waffles filled with cream cheese and topped with whipped topping. These look promising!

At the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart, there are a few new photo-worthy treats, including the Christmas Jumbo Cake Pop (chocolate cake pop dipped in white chocolate), Mickey Snowman Macaron, Raspberry Coconut Wreath (almond shortbread cookie with coconut macaron ring, filled with raspberry jam), and Santa Jumbo Cake Pop (chocolate cake pop dipped in white chocolate). It may be necessary to grab a bunch of treats here while you’re getting your Mickey gingerbread!

There will be several seasonal offerings at our top Mickey Visit Downtown Disney restaurants, including everything from a new Three Course Christmas Dinner (Available Dec. 24 and Dec. 25) at Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio (featuring a Reveillon Salad, Grilled Ribeye, and Gingerbread Pudding) to new items like the Chicken Tamal (Oaxacan style tamal, with mole rojo, braised chicken, and pickled jalapeños, carrots, and squash veggies) and Tamal de Rajas (corn husk tamal, rajas, Mexican cheese blend, and pickled jalapeños, carrots and squash veggies) at Centrico.
There is also an intriguing Diwali Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza (Neapolitan dough, tikka masala sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, marinated chicken, red onion, parmesan, and cilantro) at Naples Ristorante e Bar that looks quite good.
Moving on to the Disney Festival of Holidays, there are some interesting new items in the mix! At this celebration, you can get a Sip and Savor Pass, which includes six digital coupons that can be redeemed for select food and nonalcoholic menu items.

There is a new Al Pastor Mac & Cheese with tortilla crumble and cilantro at Holiday Duets, joining the fan-favorite Savory Kugel Mac & Cheese, as well as a variety of new beers. Brews & Bites also has a generous selection of beers as well as a new Irish Hot Cocoa Cocktail with Irish whiskey, Hot Cocoa by Joffrey’s with cookies and cream flavors, melted chocolate, hazelnut purée, and Irish cream syrup garnished with whipped cream.

At Grandma’s Recipes, they are turning the Café de Olla Cold Brew into an alcoholic drink with a new Café de Olla Carajillo Cocktail featuring Spanish liqueur, Joffrey’s Mexico Origin Coffee, whole and condensed milk, and house-made spiced piloncillo syrup topped with a chocolate dulce de leche sweet cream and garnished with a mini pan dulce. The regular, non-alcoholic coffee will also still be available.
At Merry Mashups, there is a delicious-looking new Holiday M&M’S Éclair filled with milk chocolate mousse and topped with whipped ganache and M&M’S Milk Chocolate Minis, as well as new drinks including the non-alcoholic Tropical Holiday Punch with pineapple, orange and lemon juices, blue raspberry syrup, and coconut purée garnished with a blue raspberry gummy candy and Blue Tropical Cocktail with rum, pineapple, orange and lemon juices, blue raspberry syrup, and coconut purée garnished with a blue sugar-coated pineapple wheel and a dark rum float.

For Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, Paradise Garden Grill will have some new items including a Tacos Dorados de Camarón (two shrimp tacos fried to a golden brown topped with zesty slaw, salsa roja, salsa macha, and crema served with Spanish rice and refried beans) and Al Pastor Torta (pineapple achiote-marinated pork with chorizo beans, avocado spread, tomatillo salsa, cilantro, and onions served with tortilla chips).
