The Hilton Anaheim, which is the largest hotel property in Orange County, is located right next to the Anaheim Convention Center, at just over a 15-minute walk from Disneyland. The hotel just had its Grand Unveiling on October 23rd this past week, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local officials, guided property tours for dignitaries and VIPs, and an evening celebration for guests and attendees.

“From the lobby to our guest rooms, from rooftop pool experiences to our signature dining venues, every element has been thoughtfully designed to deliver a world-class experience,” said Sergio Bocci, general manager at Hilton Anaheim. “We’re proud to reaffirm Hilton Anaheim as a leading destination for travelers seeking both comfort and connection in the heart of Orange County.”

The ballrooms and conference rooms can be used for conferences, weddings, and social events, and they feature expanded audiovisual and technology capabilities.

“Completing this renovation, the most significant transformation in our history, is a major milestone for our hotel and for our entire team, who lived through every step of it,” shared Bocci. “For over a year, we navigated construction, while keeping our commitment to serving guests, reimagining every space for the future, and honoring the legacy of what this property means to Anaheim. Now, standing on the other side of the process, I feel an enormous sense of pride. This transformation has allowed us to celebrate the property’s role in Anaheim over the past 40 years while creating a hotel ready for the decades ahead. With its new look, Hilton Anaheim is a place where meaningful moments will continue to unfold, and where guests, neighbors, and partners can gather for years to come.”

This was the hotel that Mickey Visit founder Gavin Doyle stayed in growing up. He has fond memories of enjoying all the great amenities here, from the pool to the fantastic lobby breakfast. He is pleased that the hotel received this complete renovation to keep it as a top favorite option in Anaheim, California for a Disneyland vacation.

We recommend the Hilton Anaheim as a great hotel near Disneyland that is perfect for families and business travelers. The hotel is unquestionably the best option for those attending both a conference at the Anaheim Convention Center and visiting Disneyland. We have stayed here multiple times for D23 – The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. We look forward to getting back here again soon to see the property.

  1. Yes 15 min walk!
I stayed there, day before we went to Disneyland back in March. Nice Hotel, but it is not a Disney property. The magic is not there. We then stayed 3 nights at Pixar. Yes more expensive, but it is Disney from the lobby to the rooms. So a nice Hotel YES but not in the Magic! By the way, for families and older folks, walking all day the 15 minute walk to and from is miserable after walking all day.

    • Agree with all your points! The ART Shuttle and Uber/Lyft are also good options from the Hilton. I do like the Pixar Place Hotel. They did a nice job on the improvements there.

  2. I cant wait to see the changes. We usually stay there on trips to Disney. Hopefully they fixed the condensation problems in the hotel rooms. The carpet and hotel rooms always felt wet for some reason.
