New Attraction Added to Animal Kingdom Lightning Lane
The new show Zootopia: Better Zoogether! opens on November 7, 2025, inside the Tree of Life theater. Today, Disney debuted a brand new poster for the attraction (above) and shared information on how the attraction will fit into Lightning Lane Multi Pass. The Zootopia-themed show is the replacement for the former It's Tough to Be a Bug! show, which closed permanently in March 2025 to make way for Zootopia.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether! will be included in Lightning Lane Multi Pass and will be available for guests to select on the attraction's opening date on November 7.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Animal Kingdom includes the following attractions:
- DINOSAUR
- Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
- Feathered Friends in Flight!
- Festival of the Lion King
- Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!
- Kali River Rapids
- Kilimanjaro Safaris
- Naʻvi River Journey
- Zootopia: Better Zoogether! (beginning on November 7, 2025)
Currently, my recommendation for using Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Animal Kingdom is to prioritize Naʻvi River Journey and Kilimanjaro Safaris before the other experiences, since those two tend to have the longest lines. I don't recommend changing that strategy even when Zootopia: Better Zoogether! opens. I think this Lightning Lane will be fairly easy to get, even though this is a new experience, and you can work it into your afternoon plans without any issues.
After the initial debut period for the new attraction, we do not anticipate that the Lightning Lane pass will do you much good. For the It's Tough to Be a Bug! show, the line rarely saved very much time as is the case with many theater shows with the pass. The key exception to this is the Festival of the Lion King show. We'll be watching this closely when the attraction opens to bring you the key information on how it impacts Lightning Lane.
If you plan on doing rope drop at Animal Kingdom, you still should prioritize the top-tier attractions while saving the shows for the afternoon, including Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, which will run consistently throughout the day.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Adds More Experiences to Animal Kingdom
Zootopia: Better Zoogether! will be a 4-D theater experience featuring the characters of Zootopia like Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and more. The theater will also feature an Audio-Animatronic Officer Clawhauser figure that is incorporated into the experience. This new show will be filled with humor and action while guests get to experience the different biomes you see in the film, plus some that no one has seen yet.
Zootopia, based on talking animals, is a nice addition to Animal Kingdom. More new experiences are planned for Animal Kingdom in the future as construction continues in the former DinoLand, USA, to build the new Tropical Americas land, which will bring a brand new Encanto attraction and an Indiana Jones attraction to the park.
