Disney just shared some major announcements at a SXSW Conference panel, including an exciting new look at concept art for the new storyline coming to the Millennium Falcon ride in Galaxy's Edge. They also shared the exciting news that the adorable BDX droids that have appeared in the past at Disneyland will be coming to more Disney parks around the world!
We've been waiting to hear about the next move for these droids since they stole the hearts of fans with their cute personalities. They appeared during Disneyland's Star Wars Season of the Force celebration last year, and now they are coming to more Disney parks (and the big screen…more details on that below).

At the SXSW Conference, Disney revealed that the BDX droids are coming to visit Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris later this year. These droids have learned how to navigate and interact with their environments, making them a lot of fun to watch.

During the panel, Disney shared an interesting look at the making of these BDX droids and how they are trained in a virtual environment before this animation is brought to life, bringing out their cute character qualities and personalities.
Additionally, these droids are making their feature film debut in The Mandalorian and Grogu. These droids are perfect for the screen (and have great potential for comedy), and I can easily see them blending right into the world of the film.
