2025 Oogie Boogie Bash Characters: New Additions Announced & Returning Favorites

Halloween at Disneyland is a fun seasonal celebration featuring ride overlays, themed foods, spooky decor, and more, along with the popular Oogie Boogie Bash ticketed event at California Adventure. There are so many popular Oogie Boogie Bash characters on the list and new villains! We now have a first look at the two new villains for this year's parties.

We attended the first night of Oogie Boogie Bash last year, and below we will share the new and returning characters we saw with a mix of photos from this year and previous parties.

NEW Oogie Boogie Bash Villains

At this year's Oogie Boogie Bash parties, there will be two new villains who will have Treat Trail locations. Disneyland previously teased the appearances of these new characters and has now revealed a first look at them.

The first new villain who will appear at Oogie Boogie Bash is Syndrome, the villain from The Incredibles. He will be appearing near the Pixar Pier Band Shell. What do you think of his look?

The other villain confirmed for this year is Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. Technically, she is not a new villain, but she hasn't appeared since 2022 and is making her return this year. You'll find her behind the queue for Grizzly River Run in Grizzly Peak.

Oogie Boogie Bash Villains Returning From Last Year

Last year, there were two new Oogie Boogie Bash villains appearing at the Treat Trail locations, who will both be returning this year.

Here is a look at Hades, god of the Underworld and the antagonist from Disney's Hercules. His hair turns red along with his surroundings when he's angry. You can find him at the Hollywood Backlot Stage.

The other returning Treat Trail villain is the evil scientist Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb. You can find him at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land!

• Hollywood Land- Oogie Boogie at Disney Animation

• Hollywood Land- Hyperion Theater featuring Ernesto de la Cruz

• Hollywood Land – Judge Doom near Studio Catering Co. and Hollywood Lounge

• Avengers Campus- Ancient Sanctum featuring Agatha Harkness
• Grizzly Peak – Maleficent at Mountain Road (behind the queue for Grizzly River Run)
• San Fransokyo Square – Yokai

• Pixar Pier – Syndrome (near the Pixar Pier Band Shell)

Oogie Boogie Bash Character List

Several characters, including some who only very rarely show up at Disneyland, have appeared in past years at Oogie Boogie Bash at the Villain Treat Trails and character meet-and-greets that occur during the party. Here is a list of all the characters we've seen at this event:
