Princess Change at Magic Kingdom
Princess Fairytale Hall is an indoor meet-and-greet location in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. A sign out front directs guests to choose between 1 of 2 lines, with each line featuring a different pair of Disney Princesses to meet.
Over the years, the specific lineup of Princesses meeting inside Princess Fairytale Hall has evolved. Most recently, the location featured Cinderella and a “Visiting Princess” on one side, and Tiana and a “Visiting Princess” on the other side, with “Visiting Princess” indicating a random surprise character who guests wouldn’t discover the identity of until they’re at the front of the line.

Effective October 20, 2026, Princess Fairytale Hall now features Cinderella and Tiana in the same room, and 2 “Visiting Princesses” in the other room. Disney says the surprise characters in the “Visiting” room may include Snow White, Rapunzel, or Merida. We assume other royalty may show up at times, too.

Magic Kingdom features several more Princess appearances. Cinderella and other Princess friends host meals at Cinderella’s Royal Table inside the castle.
Guests can also see both classic and modern Princesses in the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, the nighttime Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade, and the Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire castle stage show.

Princess Change at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Ariel from The Little Mermaid’s live-action story meets guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios inside Walt Disney Presents, the biographical museum attraction about its namesake’s career. Guests can find Ariel toward the end of the exhibits in a dedicated meet-and-greet spot with her own themed background.
Starting October 28, 2026, Ariel will move locations, instead meeting outside of ’50s Prime Time Café near Echo Lake.
We expect this change is related to the upcoming holiday season. Last year, Ariel temporarily moved to the same Echo Lake spot while her usual meet-and-greet location inside Walt Disney Presents hosted Santa Claus during the daytime and Duffy the Disney Bear during Disney Jollywood Nights, the park’s Christmas party. Assuming this is the reason for Ariel’s move again, she should be back in her indoor location sometime in January.
Other Princesses who meet guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios include Mulan and Rapunzel. They can both be found at Off the Page!, a mega meet-and-greet spot inside The Magic of Disney Animation, a new pavilion-style attraction. Outside of The Magic of Disney Animation, in a recently redesigned astroturf courtyard, more Princesses and other classic characters have been making unscheduled appearances.
Elsewhere in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Ariel from the animated story stars in The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure. Princess fans can also see Belle in Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage, and Anna and Elsa in For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.
Snow White, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, and Moana all appear in the Fantasmic! nighttime spectacular.
