October brings the final month of Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort, with a new Haunted Mansion street party, new merchandise, and exclusive food menus. Disneyland is also looking ahead to the holidays as spooky season transitions to all things merry. Disneyland announced 7 perks for hotel guests in October 2026. We have the full list of perks and the dates when they’re available. Halloween Time Treat Trail
Guests can follow a trick-or-treat trail across all three Disneyland Resort hotels: Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, and Pixar Place Hotel. Sign up for free at your hotel front desk. Participants receive a wristband, goodie guide, and treat bag.

The Halloween Time Treat Trail takes place from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on October 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, 29 and 31, 2026.
Pumpkin Craft
Free souvenir alert! Guests staying at two Disneyland Resort hotels can decorate their own faux pumpkin and take it home.
This craft takes place on the 3rd Floor Pool Deck at Pixar Place Hotel on October 5, 12, 19, and 26, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
It will also be hosted on the Frontier Lawn at Disneyland Hotel on October 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Disney Movie Nights
Two of Disneyland’s hotels will host outdoor movie nights in October.
Guests can enjoy 2001’s Monsters, Inc. on the 3rd Floor Pool Deck at Pixar Place Hotel on October 5, 12, 19, and 26, 2026, at 8:00 PM.
Guests can watch 1993’s The Nightmare Before Christmas on the Frontier Lawn at Disneyland Hotel on October 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2026, at 8:00 PM.
Cars Art Gallery
2026 marks the 20th anniversary of Pixar’s Cars. To celebrate, Pixar Place Hotel is showcasing behind-the-scenes artwork from the development of the movie.
Guests can see drawings, paintings, sculptures, and videos about the making of the film at The Art of Pixar Gallery all month long. The gallery is on the hotel’s second floor for guests to peruse at their leisure.
Make Your Own Washcloth Animal
Guests can learn how to create their own washcloth animal, just like the kind Disneyland housekeeping cast members sometimes make out of towels, during a free activity session.
Washcloth Animal-making will happen in the Discovery Den at Disneyland Hotel on October 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2026, at 9:30 AM. Washcloths are provided, and guests get to take home their animal as a free souvenir.
Drawing Class
Guests can participate in a free drawing class at The Sketch Pad Café at Pixar Place Hotel on October 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2026, at 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM.
This is a complimentary class, and all supplies are provided, making your creation a great free souvenir. Animation Academy inside Disney California Adventure continues to provide drawing classes daily.

Special Musical Appearance by Joe Gardner
Guests can see Joe Gardner, the piano teacher from Soul, at Pixar Place Hotel throughout October. Joe plays the piano live near the lobby staircase instead of taking part in a traditional character meet & greet with photos and autographs.
