Disney Changing Hot Sauce Option at Quick Service Restaurants

Throughout Walt Disney World, guests dining at quick service restaurants, also called counter service restaurants, pick up their own condiments for their food at a central table within the dining room. One of those condiments is changing across the theme parks. This is part of the previously announced condiment changes coming from a new overall corporate partnership.

A hot sauce brand is being replaced at quick service restaurants throughout Disney World. We have details on the change. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including Disney enforcing a wedding rule that was previously ignored and a surprise flash sale on Disneyland and Disney World tickets.

Tapatío Replaces Tabasco Across Disney World

Hot sauce packets

The hot sauce brand Tapatío is now becoming available in quick service restaurants throughout Walt Disney World. Guests can retrieve as many individual packets of Tapatío as they’d like at the condiment stations inside dining locations.

Tapatío replaces the previously offered Tabasco hot sauce packets.

We anticipate that this change is coming to Disneyland as well. We will be checking in soon at the resort.

The switchover from Tabasco to Tapatío was likely prompted by the launch of Disney’s long-term partnership with Kraft Heinz. Tapatío is owned by Highlander Partners, but Kraft Heinz holds a distribution deal to make the condiment available in restaurants.

We spotted Tapatío at ABC Commissary at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. WDWNT first spotted the change.

Heinz condiments

At some Disney World restaurants, certain condiments are available via self-serve dispensers rather than individual packets. These include Heinz products like ketchup and ranch dressing, which we’ve noticed in multiple locations in the parks and hotels. We saw the station above at ABC Commissary.

The above condiment stations have begun to be rolled out across the theme park locations at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

Heinz Remix Machines at D23

Eventually, guests may be able to create their own Heinz sauces with Heinz Remix, a contraption similar to a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. We saw a prototype of this experience at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026. They are also bringing other unique sauces to the parks. See all the key details on that rollout.

In other Disney World dining news, a specialty drink will be available at EPCOT for a one-day-only celebration this week.

EPCOT is also in the middle of its annual International Food & Wine Festival, which continues through November 21. See the full menus for the festival and read our review of some of the limited-time food.
