As one of Disney’s biggest hits in recent years, Encanto is a film that the company is eager to bring to life inside theme parks. Disney’s first Encanto ride is currently under construction, and new details were just announced.
Disney revealed the Encanto ride name, new story points, and behind-the-scenes looks at the Audio-Animatronics characters within the attraction. Encanto Ride Coming to Disney World
A new ride based on Encanto is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida as part of a new themed land called Tropical Americas. The land replaces and expands the area of the park formerly known as DinoLand, U.S.A., and will also include an Indiana Jones ride.
The Encanto ride will take place in the Madrigals’ Casita from the movie.

Disney first shared all of the above information in 2024. As part of 2026’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney revealed new information about the future of its theme parks. This included new reveals about the Encanto ride.
The Encanto ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will officially be titled Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto.
Inside, riders will join the family on the day that Antonio, the young boy in the film, receives his gift of talking to animals. It’s a sacred and special occasion for the family, and riders are invited to Casita as part of a cheerful celebration.
When you enter the house, you’ll board a ride vehicle meant to represent the different pieces of furniture assembled by the power of Casita to carry you through the rooms.
The ride vehicles will seem to be made of accoutrements from around the Casita, like a piano and cabinets.
There will be no height requirement for Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto, ensuring guests of all ages can ride together.
Given the ride’s location in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, animals will be a major focus of the attraction. Here’s a new look at some of the figures that will populate the ride.
Over 50 animals will be part of this attraction, including the capybara and donkey pictured above.
The original voice cast from the film returned to record new dialogue for the ride, including Stephanie Beatriz as Mirabel, Jessica Darrow as Luisa, and Diane Guerrero as Isabella.
Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto will open in 2027. Disney has not announced an exact opening date or season.
