An older attraction at Disneyland Park was recently scheduled to close for refurbishment, and now there is a reopening date for that ride.

Matterhorn Bobsleds Reopening Soon After Refurbishment
We previously reported that the Matterhorn Bobsleds would be closing for refurbishment on July 20, with July 19 being the last day to ride the coaster before it closes. At the time, there was no reopening date released to the public. That has since changed, and we now have a day to expect the Matterhorn Bobsleds to be open again.

The Matterhorn Bobsleds are scheduled to reopen on July 24, giving this refurbishment a very quick turnaround. Due to the fast nature of this refurbishment, it is likely that general, non-extensive touch ups to ensure that the roller coaster is in good working condition for guests.
This newest closure for refurbishment seems to follow a pattern that Disneyland has set for the Matterhorn. The ride has closed once a year since 2022 for varying lengths of time. Seeing as the Matterhorn opened in 1959 and has continued to run since, it makes sense that the older roller coaster might need more downtime to keep it running smoothly after so long in operation.

There are several other rides down for refurbishment at Disneyland. Pirates of the Caribbean closed on May 4 for some technical upgrades, and it still does not have an official reopening date on the Disneyland website.
Also at Disneyland Park, both the King Arthur Carrousel and the Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition will be closed beginning July 6. The Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition does not yet have a reopening date, but the King Arthur Carrousel looks to be reopening on July 17 based on the official Disneyland calendar.
At Disney California Adventure, the Silly Symphony Swings and Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind are both closed, with no official reopening date revealed quite yet.
